er cat attacked keyboard lol. try playing with going Element-> consecrate -> specialist -> damage -> tactitian. getting 125% in consecrate might work better. It's a very close one without heros
for little forest try just warriors all specced in concecrate. go 50 50 energy and physical and just spam damage (try maybe boossting speacil tio 1245%. Start filling from the back (I started on the the first row) so the units in the back get exp. A really ugly level btw (much harder than most hard maps) so getting skills for +damage and paving costs is important.
this is not the dude that's been spamming games. it's and honest shootorial game as we've seen from countless others. The dude is learning so cut him some slack. 5 just to balance the hate mate.
Do you really have to spend 200 gold just to place a hero on the map? Not too sure sicne they game has been updated 2 times since I fired my useless hero.
For example, if you are having troubles with the third mission "Orc Rage", only about 4 or 5 waves are flying, instead of mindlessly spamming mages like in the first two protectors, try mixing in a few fire and lightning based warriors. Much better damage.
yeah the cost of heroes is amazingly high considering the crap gold you get per mission I just fired mine and went about my merry way. One thing to note in protector 3 is that mages no longer have that insanely overpowered skill tree... that combines with the flexibility of knights (consecrate is fantastic) makes this a much better balanced game class wise.
Basic strat from many pages back works a treat; get 4 catapults asap and give them the +4 move skill first. Playing the elf chick at least , I find the Elite Dwarven Infantry best Bang for the buck to form the defensive back bone shielding your pults bow + mage. Great base stats, can promote +4 move with 6 base move and travel mountains well for mopping up.
Wow wtf with the "No point in leveling your troops" comment, leveling up is cheap and you improve their base stats like attack % (hint: reason people getting mostly one's) and armor effectiveness. not to mention the special skills are great.
