The humor is fantastic, the game play is great and the lack of hair in the future is disturbing. 5/5, feel free to listen to the other comments about how to refine the game =) (not sure what cheat does, but if it works as advertised, kudos!) oh yeah, space to pick up is bad for people with hands larger than 8cm.
For levels 1-14 it's all about frost and stinger towers with damage boosters. For level 15, there's so much happening that the fire towers closer to the front should be blast with a stinger as clean up. Even un-upgraded ice towers are worth using once you get the freeze perk at the top of the tree for slowing things down and letting the blaster do it's job. Was not impressed with the lighting towers compared.
Very nice game, very nice music.
Yeah some lag issues but this game is just great. Main issue I found as stated before, no info on guns without testing. I liked the bit tunes music personally but to each their own, mute for the win! Can easily see this expanded with more main baddies and even sillier Guns (TM) =)
If you are starting out and wondering what to do, earmark 280ish for the adjustable staff in weapon shop and train mana lore and tactics in either the tailoring or blacksmith place. Once you can spare the 80 gold entrance fee, get heal in the top right island as it will make good use of your mana. From there, keep punking the crafting dungeons (alchemy seems harder) as the monsters are all weak melee and you'll soon find better than the staff for little to no effort in whichever weapon type you prefer. You'll be able to hit on tactics alone and mana lore helps heal I guess.
Since you just added a closer town view zoom level recently, could you go on in that vein a few more times add one or two more magnifications in-between 'zoomed out' and 'really zoomed out' out please?
There's a few tutorial issues commonly encountered, first being trying to find the balloon shop in the sky without the tutorial explaining how to zoom out or move the town view with the mouse. The second issue I see in the otherwise amazingly well done tutorials is exactly what happens when one upgrades their hero monument. Both the build limit caps getting raised at rank 2ish and the fact you can have up to 8 grins when you max out at rank 4 would benefit from explicit information. Finally, it would be good to show how to swap grinns in combat as well as explaining total exp for a fight is divided evenly among all (up to 6) heroes placed into the fight, even the ones in reserve.
The crux of the food cost issue for players past floor 37 is that higher tier production doesn't keep up with resource needs and normal adventuring simply does not generate any more resources than it did in the first 25 levels. So in effect, active players are punished for upgrading tier4+, as their food costs sky rocket but their passive resource gathering remains stagnant and operational gains never improve. There's more than one way to approach this issue, increasing high level monster resource drops and improving high tier mine/cabin yields come to mind immediately. Great game btw.
Please take a serious look at food costs. No one in their right mind can afford to use t4 or t5 food as their costs in metal alone would ruin them very quickly.
Glad you like our game. We have implemented a mute button in the latest version (1.2).
