I forgot how easy it is to soft lock, or in other words, get stuck in this game. It's also easy to take advantage of the name you give yourself, since that becomes a word that normally isn't: Use "SNN" to get past the 'NN' at the start, but going down that path without the ampersand keeps you stuck forever (aka softlock). There are other examples, but this should suffice.
it seems that the cost for corrupt cops increased by a hefty amount... too hefty. If an update occurred relatively recently, the change to the corrupt cops' prices probably happened then, pretty much causing them to be far too expensive to be worth it (I saw around a $6,200,000 increase from one day to the next, currently at 36/50 corrupt cops).
On the other hand, this might be a good, if exploitable, time to sell the cops you purchased and replace them with better stuff. I haven't done it yet due to a pawn shop upgrade in the process though.
if you bought cops in last weeks you were Lucky because the prices were lower than they should be. Now back correct it was only 2-3 weeks (since transport company launch). Ask any other player about the cops prices and they will confirm this prices... more cops = more weed offers in weedfarm.
are new players unable to join this game? always getting the Account Credentials invalid, Connection Failed, retrying... Connected!, Account Credentials invalid loop... Just trying to start the tutorial, and there is no way around it. Currently a guest account, since the register button does nothing...
Seems like I cannot sign in to my account. Attempting to click sign in or register does nothing. I know that I have both a Kongregate account and a Picma account, but it seems I cannot sign in, and therefore, cannot continue playing the puzzles I was working on.
It's aggravating, and the fact I cannot create a free account anyways further hurts this situation; I cannot play this game the way it was intended to be played.
It's been a while since I came back to playing this game, and to come back in this state... not sure what to feel. I love the Picma series (I love playing picross games and their variations). Losing all the progress I had just turns me away from this game now. (Note: it has been at least six months since I last played.)
Game crashes if a guard sees you, but is unable to end the chase (due to a wall being in the way.) It's annoying, especially when the guard should NOT be able to see you, and then having the game crash after taking a one or two steps afterwards.
Why do I need to watch out for guards that shouldn't be able to see me?
One more thing... you should at least state that it is Toby Fox's music that is being used (whether it is a variation of it or not, he still owns the music and deserves to be credited).
I enjoyed the game, but I had wanted to see what might have been causing issues for other players (and myself), both those who have played, and those who would be considering playing in the future.
I don't mind the Undertale music, and I know that Toby Fox won't be barging in requesting for the game to be taken down with threat of lawsuit for the use of his music. The Snowdin music adds quite a bit of charm to this game.
Overall, I will give this a 3.5/5, rounding down to 3/5 for the moment (mostly for the game over issue I mentioned). I'm noticing that it's possible to get a negative score, but I need to investigate further into what's causing that (unless it is intentional that something gives negative score).
Something that pops up to me as odd is... the blue penguin seems to have a slightly faster starting speed. Although both penguins reach the same point if up or down is held for more than a second, quickly and lightly tapping a direction causes the blue one to show this higher speed.
It's because of this slightly higher speed that I think some players are struggling with level 2. Trying to move into a specific spot with a slightly faster-moving penguin might get frustrating, especially when the time limit for movement is a seal that happens to be near the spot you are trying to go into.
no issues with running out of time. Although plenty of time is not an issue, your health and score are constants when a level is reloaded, meaning should you run out of life, you have to refresh the page if you want to keep playing (since health is not reset when you game over).
As level 2 has the biggest cause of loss of life, having to refresh the page in order to continue playing doesn't seem right...
Getting a game over through losing all of your life prevents you from restarting the game. You can only refresh the page to get out of this situation. Going to test if running out of time has a similar effect.
hmm... I haven't had any glitches on my end. The boss appearing at wave 10 caught me off guard, so I had a few game overs before I was able to beat him (the fact money saves over from getting game overs, and some is added helped). No glitches at all (I played as Cezar as well, his speed and fast attacks helped a lot).
there seems to be a version of this game called Strategic Tic-Tac-Toe that was recently released. Same game, but has AI and allows for Two Player games as well (Local only). It seems to have done quite a bit more than this version, but I'm unsure if one could say that it's a copied game, as both games took it off of the same site for the idea.
Depends on which mode you are playing on Banana. Slug mode is harder due to the fact that your boomerangs have less reach, you take more damage, you move faster, and jump higher. Are you playing on Slug, Easy, or Normal?
Slug- Jump and shoot. Your attacks can't reach stompy otherwise.
General information: Stompy's weakness are the eyes.
Overall, I will give this game a 4 out of 5. It's fun, short, and mildly difficult for hard mode. However, the difference between hard and very hard can be seen as a difficulty spike in comparison. This difficulty spike tends to drive players away from attempting it (just look at the first room compared to the previous mode). It's challenging, especially the final room, but with perseverance, dedication, and especially patience/time, anyone can beat it.
The chambers with the color diamonds are only slightly harder than before, but it's harder this time around to shoot at them while outside (especially with the boss's projectiles acting as they are). You still can follow Vranz's strategy outside of the chambers, but note that it's more risky than before thanks to those disks (and the boss if you are going for Green).
Thankfully, he doesn't shoot upwards, but those un-aimed projectiles do go upwards, in addition to all the disks flying around you. Just be careful with your timing when you have to go after the boss, and always be attentive to those disks flying around. I recommend staying in white for the double jump (as an emergency), and attempting to shoot at the boss from above.
For those who don't know:
The last room in "Very Hard" is much harder than "Hard" mode.
1. You must go in a specific order, rather than be allowed to shoot the crystals in any order you like. You have no choice in this matter. The order is: Boss, Red, Boss, Green, Boss, Blue, Boss.
2. Just like every other room in very hard, the difficulty for maneuvering around is significantly higher. In addition to what is there from hard mode, there are numerous disks flying around that ignore your color.
3. Every time you "remove a color" from the boss, he constantly shoots about 6 projectiles around him. It starts out infrequent, but becomes more frequent the more times you do so. They ignore your color though, so you cannot just shift your color to avoid them.
4. No checkpoints, just like in Hard mode.
Finally beat "Very Hard Mode" with the following: Time- 1:39:19. Deaths- 542. Color Swaps- 921. It is a fun game in hard mode, but I won't recommend very hard mode except to the truly hardcore and dedicated gamers. Also, you should go into the final boss with a strategy, or it will really rack up your deaths and time. I know that the majority of my deaths and time came from the boss. I finally made up my own strategy for that room within the last 20 or so minutes of that run.
Hmm... there's an ending for finishing the game in less than 30 minutes? I find this easier to do in slug mode (getting the not so super secret boomerang in the very beginning allows you to skip the first area/boss... but the health powerups are even more a necessity when you follow this path).
