I found a bug. If you complete the game with no cards left in the draw pile, the game correctly gives the bonus for completing and lays out a new table. But then proceeds to say there are no moves and ends the game!
Nice little game. I agree on the streak tracking and a bit less randomness. You could take two decks of cards and draw the appropriate number of cards from that, that way once you've got a lot of sixes it's less likely to pick yet another one.
Nice game, and entertaining. I found myself wishing to have a way to NOT shoot, but I think that may have made the game less enjoyable really. Some other music would have been better. 4 stars.
Good fun, and suitably horrible difficulty on the last stage. Could use a highscore list for fastest win on each level, and a hard or impossible badge for winning the final level. 4 stars, simpe and well done.
I didn't get the last one without a hint, possibly because I didn't know I could do that with Flash. Thank you to the developer for the rather obvious hint at November 06. Also, I love these puzzles. Great work.
An objective would be good. But making a 3D engine is pretty good in itself, well done. The control scheme reminds me of Daggerfall, and is rather quirky. It already lags rather hard on quality 2, so I think it will become pretty heavy with more things happening.
Good enough execution, and certainly for one day's work. Still, it's not very entertaining. Suggestions for objectives could be blocks to smash a la arkanoid, pips to eat a la pacman, or introducing a second ball/monster and having to keep them both in the ring while making them collide. I'm sure you can think of other ideas.
And I forgot, please make it possible to use all hatchers in one go. I usually line up all the eggs before hatching, and with more than one hatcher the process takes a lot of time before you're allowed to use the next.
Nice puzzler. The music is awful once you've completed level 2, something less repetitive please.
Also, please allow movement of more eggs than one at a time. Having to wait for one to complete its slide before moving the next is annoying. If your levels are reliant on them not moving at the same time (some probably are), queue up the commands and process them when the move is completed.
Very glitchy. The AI appears to have a random chance when deciding whether to take the ball and is able to instantly teleport to where it needs to be rather than using the same rules as the player. This makes the game reliant on chance rather than skillful play (such as sending two balls at the same time where it cannot possibly take both).
I liked the music for the rather short while it lasted, but not for as long as it took me to write this. Please make music longer than a 10 second loop.
However, the varying battlefield is nice. 2 stars.
Quite fun, but you can tell that you ran out of level ideas pretty early as they all say "faster enemies" after a bit.
Perhaps tweaks to the scoring system could be fun, like awarding more points for being close to the center and dodging enemies so they need to turn around to face you again.
Haha, I need more black drops =). Seems to have a bug that makes you start at level 10 from the menu, but after you've died in that impossible onslaught it's a nice buildup until the really hard level 9.
The simple gameplay is fair enough, but the game gets huge minus points for lack of a "restart level" button, it's annoying to have to turn around and then finish the race when you miss a checkpoint.
The music is nothing short of horrible, I can't stand listening to it. Thankfully you can turn it off.
The intro goes along too slowly, you have to wait for a long time after having read the text before the next pic comes. The story is also rather corny, but who cares?
The game itself is good enough in its simple premise, and somewhat of a challenge in the last two levels. Good graphics!
The death sequence should be shorter in duration, as you want to try again immediately when losing, and seeing that several-seconds long sequence over and over again is annoying. I prefer the way of Line Game that immediately puts you back in action.
The music is not my cup of tea, but it's not bad.
All in all 3/5 from me.
Nice game, and while jazz isn't really my thing it's nice and relaxing for this game, which is needed with all the shapes flying around. I keep smacking pieces into myself on the way to a matching one, but I'm sure I'll get used to avoiding that eventually.
I would suggest to add a grace period of a second or two when changing levels, where you don't take damage from holding the pointer over the red. All too often I take a lot of damage from having killed the last piece where there's red in the next level.
