I wish I knew in advance how many levels this game has. Right now I've got it on autopilot, because I'm that bored. Easy level, so even without actually attending to it, I'm still winning.
Entertaining...until I got to the basketball shot. It gives about 1/10 a second for response. After about 100 tries, and only getting to the left arrow about 4 times, I'm calling it quits.
OK, time for a break. Just spent nearly an hour frantically clicking on level 15, only to have the last remaining boss pick off my guys at 1/sec. Which wouldn't be so bad, except they're clumping and sitting. I don't have time to target each to separate them (and they won't separate themselves to make harder targets); I can't get to my adult ones to respawn. So despite a very drawn out, finally got them nailed, 15/1 advantage originally, I quickly died.
Have I mentioned that this game is frustrating? Maybe it's easier with a mouse.
Interesting concept; I love the evolution. The control is very cumbersome, and it's frustrating that you can't map out a bunch of comb for bees to seize, or send them in a direction. So while I'm getting carpal tunnel frantically trying to keep one group of bees from dying out, another is sitting idle because I didn't carefully direct enough individuals towards individual cells. The highlighting failed more often than not, especially when I was in a hurry to move some bees! Ditto the complaint on new bees forming atop the original; then you have to wait for it to move to spawn again. Again, this makes harder levels very frustrating.
I'd be interested to see where it goes from here.
Hey, Kong, we know you wouldn't have done this without careful thought and good cause. Even though part of me is shaking its puny fists at the heavens and screaming "Argh, I only needed another 54 diamonds!!!", a part is relieved to have my addiction removed.
Thanks for your long efforts in making this game available to players. May your Kwanukamas gift be a tolerant response form all the other addicts (many of whom complained constantly anyway). I for one am looking forward to finding out what that strange glowing light outside my window is...I think it may be called 'sunloot' or something.
Fun game, which I've been replaying to see if I can beat my best time (19-20 days). The tutorial is making me nuts!. Is there a way to turn it off? please??
Beautiful woodcut feel; gameplay was short, but fairly straightforward (none of this 'sure you have a hammer, but it can't be used for both hitting wooden bars in a window AND hitting a stake, now can it?' crap). It was a bit of hunt figuring out where I could go though.
Perhaps the reason the shutdown didn't bother me was because it cost me nothing, whereas the lag has once again spiked me. *sigh* I really liked those troops...didn't realize I was sending them to seize a level 8 without back-up.
Note to self (and others): Use wings frequently! My browser crashed on floor 70+; I had last escaped on about floor 26. Now I have only the items/ buffs I had at that level, but I'm starting on floor 69 and have no ability to go back. This is how combat gos for me now:
Me: *poke* (-5)
Monster: *CLOBBER!!!* (dead)
*sigh*
