Wow, that's awfully bleak and discouraging. "Hey, here are ten lines about what a failure you were! We could have just said "it wasn't enough", but instead let's bludgeon you with the brutal results of your arbitrarily horrible judgement! How dare you play our game without checking for a walkthrough! That'll teach you!"
Needs to allow games to be saved. I started getting a constant, loud static, which stopped when I closed and reopened the page....but now my progress is lost.
Very cool game....unfortunately, trying to summon the Alchemist caused me to accidentally attack the dragon! And then I ran away and rested. And now I don't seem to be able to give it my hard earned baby dragons.
Played this with no issues to level 120, and then lost all progress (and my last save was level 35, apparently!) Now it's non-functional; either it never finishes loading, or it freezes within minutes.
This game seems to keep getting buggier the longer I play it and the more upgrades I buy. Ive reloaded, cleared cache, etc. Right now, Ive upgraded to one Kongpanion, and its all but unplayable: at times it simply slows to a near-stop.
For those wondering about creating characters, if you save the link to one saved character, open it, and create a new character, your first saved one will also be there. So that's two....
"Level 5 completed – Cakewalks may be easy, but they never actually end with cake. Think about it."
Um.
"
1863, American English, from cake (n.) + walk (n.), probably in reference to the cake given as a prize for the fanciest steps in a procession in a Southern black custom (explained by Richard H. Thornton, 1912, as, "A walking competition among negroes," in which the prize cake goes to "the couple who put on most style"). Its figurative meaning of "something easy" (1863) is recorded before the literal one (1879). As a verb, from 1909. This may also be the source of the phrase to take the cake (1847)."

Meh. Liked gathering the info, but the typing interface was slow and annoying. Too easy to hit "Guilty" when attempting to "continue"; overlapping these is just bad planning. Mystery could stand to be a lot more complex.
Another fun, lite Nerdook game. I hope you keep creating, because your games are a staple on Kongregate.
One thing to think about for the next one: it'd be great to be able to search through created characters by either character or creator name. There are so many, I can't find my own!
