Fireball on a track pad seems unwieldy. I'm embarrassed to say I'm up to level 44, and most of the time when I lose a gem I just restart. It's be nice to be able to up bonuses with spare skill points...I've got quite a few!
Could just let us advance straight through the levels, rather than choosing the next (and only available) level on a separate screen. The timer and the adorable terrified geomorphs make it all okay.
#29 is a pain. You pretty much have random friction to rely on. And right now I'm grappling with the wobble factor in 34...I have sustained balance, but there's gentle rocking, so no win? This is annoying. I'm not listening to the music, so no comment there, but 3/5 otherwise. If not for the wobble, I'd have given this 4/5...a revision to accept at 5 minutes or less (maybe even 1 minute) would be ideal.
Ending song=win! Game play was initially incredibly slow; then my browser crashed, I reloaded, and it was smooth sailing. In fact, the pace was just about right. But not much challenge at "normal" Maybe I'll try again at the higher difficulty.
I'd like to see some additional levels, maybe even a more state-wide campaign that gives a smaller map identifying claimed/wild areas, and bulletins so you'd know which area needed assistance. By challenge #9, I really didn't need to do anything after the first day's set-up.
Ditto. You've replicated Tetris. Good job, Mr/Ms Living-2-Decades-In-The-Past! Not even pretty pixelated Russian backdrops. This is a stepping stone in learning to make games, sure...but not a worthy submission. 1/5.
In a grim way, the cumbersomeness of "herding" ideas to people (vs the ease with which they get slurped away) seems like a fair representation of the current reality.
Pretty but not that exciting. Purely endurance. Which I may not have, given the long load time and a sudden browser crash. Let's see if my game was saved...
Yes, the bit where units sit flapping away on one side, or even above the battle, while one single unit gets blown to pieces, is a tad frustrating. Also, mana costs seem to scale upwards disproportionately. It's pretty...I guess that's something...
Hm. Interface is sometimes confusing; item explanations cover up the items themselves, and messages are frequently in a font color that is illegible against the background. I want to like it, but mostly I'm just annoyed.
Challenging and fun, but I too crashed. ON 50. After clearing the screen. Assuming there were only 2 MOABs, I was done.
I'm waiting for reload to see if anything was saved. Thank FSM for screenshots!
Wow. This really underlines the grim reality of the World Wars. I love the detail...the grim, grim detail. Little flailing bodies in the air, little gasping, choking bodies on the ground....Excuse me, I have to go put on a black dress and a gas mask so I can hang myself. Yeeks.
Good game, though. Rilly! 5/5
