if you want a stable tower, connect by interlocking as much of the pieces as possible; you can't just put one square on another and expect it to be stable at 500m. you have to use variety and put one through other

hm,everyone commenting artillery and air strikes as being horrible and unbalanced,but I don't find them much of a threat. just fix your strategies; I've got past level 100 and I've never had trouble with air or art.
