You've actually got the makings of a good game here. The two biggest problems I can see here are 1. Slopes - the physics on slopes are real wonky, sometimes I can get full jump height off one, sometimes jumps don't register at all. On top of that, standing still on one makes you slide down the hill and landing on one . 2. You should really consider adding checkpoints. The levels are pretty long. Not a problem in and of itself, but they're also getting trickier and dying near the end of a level means having to do the entire thing again. There are other... things, as well but imo these are the two biggest ones. And congrats on the 1st game!
Came to get the badge (beat the game before), then realized my save was gone and I had to play the whole thing again. Then, I remembered this game was awesome, so it was more like I GOT to play the whole thing again XD
There was once a man, actually, a couple. This couple disobeyed their mystical spirit guy - and their descendants (all of us) are still paying for that error 5000 or however many years later (we die). OF COURSE I'M GOING TO HIT THE GONG IF YOU TELL ME TO, MYSTICAL SPIRIT GUY! (apologies for the caps, heh)
For whatever reason, I found this game way more accessible than any of the cyclomaniacs games. Got all the badges here, but don't even have the meds on most of the Longanimals/Turbonuke games.
Don'tcha hate it when you can't figure out a puzzle, start mashing buttons at random, the puzzle somehow gets solved, then you look back and realize you couldn't do that again if your life depended on it? That was the box puzzle on F27 for me. Good game though
Know it won't happen but it would be much better if the directional indicator was a translucent arrow pointing off the ship itself and rotating with it. That way, I'm not trying to correct for my orientation while I'm running for my life.
Love the game. Would LOVE to be a fly on the wall when Dregg and 'another character' meet in the bar for that drink. Just to see who breaks who first if nothing else.
Pretty good work, though it did seem odd to get a new power that you only get to use once. Also, that whole 'missing 23' had me confused too. And THANK YOU for not including a death counter
Didn't mind that it was only a demo - they just should have made it clear up front, like in the description or title or something. Still fwiw, pretty good
I'm curious - how many journal pages are there? Never even thought to check it until the end since I didn't realize it was something we were working towards completing.
Thanks, for the report. That is a bug, and we will fix it in the next build.
