Seriously, all you need is a bunch of the really slow dudes with a lot of health. Just make a few of them version one to boost your income and then drop version 5s. Even if they can't make it on their own, you can always slip a few air units over them. It's pretty fun for the first few levels but you need something to spice it up a little, maybe some upgrades or some kinda "boss tower" that we can kill... ok, that last idea is kind of outta right field. What can I say? I like bosses.
There are no words in the English language that can do this game justice. Absolutely awe inspiring. Want a goal? Try and cover the lizard poster in gore!
The shooter part feels tacked on. It'd make a little more sense if you had to grab the lightning pickups to damage the boss or something... That having been said, fun game.
It's fun (and funny) but I don't really see the strategy. It's about figuring out the one way that everything is supposed to work out. That's not strategic thinking, that's guessing what the guy who made the game wants you to do.
Good starting point, but it does need a little work done. For one thing, what's the point of jumping? It only seems to matter if you grab the lightning bolt thing or if you're two inches from a very large planet.
My strategy:
1: warrior up front. High speed, powerful sword and shield, using mainly cleave and overwhelm
2: ranger in the back, lots of speed and damage, need I say more?
3: mage in the back, as much intel, mana regen, and attack effects as possible
4: cleric up front. As much armor and mana regen as possible. Speed doesn't matter for her 'cause I want her to react to the baddies' actions, not anticipate them.
A couple thoughts:
1: time limit is annoying and kind of pointless
2: antibodies or antibiotics, please make at least one of them smaller
3: latency, never found reason to upgrade it
4: dragging every single virus around gets a little tiring after 15 minutes or so
5: Awesome in general, please make another. Love the concept, love watching my babies spread, very fun in small doses (less than a half hour at a time)
Fantastic game. The evolution system... thing... is great. I love how the tank grows (or shrinks) a little bit at a time. A couple suggestions for the next version (you are going to make a sequel, right?)
1: Add a map. Telling where I've been is a pain
2: More evolutions. Maybe a tree so we can have a little more customization?
3: Bosses
