Still a fun game, no question, still playing after 5 years. Only thing that bugs me is how you have to buy packs 1 at a time. I've got so much money now, I'd have to sit here clicking for an hour to spend it all, lol!
244895. I just spent some, but yeah. I don't know what it would look like or how it'd operate, given the nature of the game, but for someone in this kind of situation, a "turbo buy" option would be a blessing.
Just started playing. So far, really like it. One issue: can there pls be an option to turn off the rapid heartbeat every time you go down to zero health potions? It gets annoying after the 3rd battle.
Fun tip: you can sell back common items for full price. Each time you sell a common item, it's replaced (once you leave) with an item of the next highest level (still always common). If you've got an item you like, you can buy its replacements and sell them back to the shop immediately to "refresh" the inventory.
Less-fun tip: the 50K helms are the top tier, and nothing replaces them once you buy them, so don't sell them back immediately unless you're prepared for the common shop to run out of helms....
Two errors I've seen:
Sometimes a structure won't disappear when destroyed, leaving the player struggling to tell what's currently occupying their spot. Right-clicking on the space just shows the structure with 0 health.
Each time I come back to the game, after closing the browser, for example, the game treats me like it's my first time and I have to see the mini-tutorial explaining how each menu works. Everything else is fine, still got my cards and decks, so I have to assume it's an error.
Between the awesome outfit (wizard pimp!) and being able to suicide jump off cliffs and dump baddies in the drink, this game is just waaay too much fun. Needs more levels and more things to either drop on baddies or drop baddies onto... spikes, lava, evil bunnies, robot wolves, whatever works.
My progression through this game:
1: okay, so there's a lot of bullets but this isn't too bad, I can still dodge.
2: I'm upgrading special just so I can keep healing myself. Bullets hells are so evil and I'm so bad at dodging!!!
3: oh, wait... my sword can destroy bullets! I have become a vampire jedi! BANZAIII! (Starts bullying the level 3 boss. It can’t do anything and dies in disgrace)
4:AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH! I’m still so bad at dodging! Where are the special pickups?! (activates ultimate, breaks screen)
5: OMG WHAT’S HAPPENING AAAAAAAGH!!!
Overall, very fun game. REALLY hoping there’s a sequel.
Suggestions: I like bosses you can take apart piece by piece, like the level 2 boss where you could break its side cannons. Also, many more levels. and maybe some more upgrade options like if you could swap out one set of special for another (maybe have a spear that you could swap out for the sword or something like that?) Pretty much the usual stuff, more of everything!
Thx! Very cool to see your progression through the game as you were finding the power of the hero. He is a badass! Would love to put in everything you were saying. Especially more, shorter levels but background art is very pricey! As well as charcter art. I funded this entire project myself and designed /programmed it after hours when the wife and baby went to bed. I think there is this misconception that all the games on here are created by fairly large development teams. That certainly is not the case and us indie devs usually make very little for our efforts (or none)
So far so fun. One suggestion: should goblin warbands really be able to create more goblin warbands? I'm having trouble keeping track but it feels like the AI's been able to chain-spawn 3 or 4 bands and at leas that many other goblins from just one original creature. I mean, they're hardly that threatening but it's annoying to say the least.
We're going to change it so you only hear the heartbeat the first time you run out of potions.
