Where's my special items?!? I want a special chainsaw and a special sniper rifleeeeeeeeeee!
On a side note this game kind of reminds me of Amorphous+. You can take a bit more from that game on creatures, maybe, and some talents from Wizards Run should also help. Although classes sounds like it's gonna cover specific customization choices, and new arenas should be nice. Also, how does a minimap sound? Anyway, I'm just saying random things, but it's not really mising that much. 4/5 because of the lack of amulets/idols/special items/armor. Could use a few more rages, maybe passive rages, attack speed rages, lifesteal rages, move speed rages, maybe more variety in the weapons. Perhaps add a melee weapon range, and have various weapons per level? One that's got longer range for avoiding enemies and striking them, for when there's far too many roaches to get close, one like a chainsaw that mows through the enemies, and a strong one with relatively slow attack speed?
Getting icebolt and smite and using all three basic spells at once is pretty awesome. It'd be more awesome, if, say, I had an extra 19 talent points. Or whatever points you feel like calling them. On that note, it would really take away from the choice aspect, of being forced into tech choices.
At least it's not an extra 32 talent points though :S Besides, you still have to earn the experience...! I guess I just really want to see chaos from the three basic spells :|
A way to use summons in multiplayer, First, get the summon. Then do a mission, and lose. Then fight in multiplayer. This may be fixed, but until then +, so others can see. Or don't.
This game is clean, polished, shined, and has had elbow grease smoothed into it's very core. And it shows. The feeling of intense fast paced awesomeness is so easy to see. I'm trying to avoid criticizing the game directly, because it would be hard to stop lavishing on the praise. 5/5. I want to see more games, please and thank you.
The gameplay itself wasn't the best. It was still good, but it was a bit repetitive and lacking. Also, I enjoyed the random messages feature, what with "The Temple", "The Lab", etc. And The losing and win messsages as well. As a final note, the AI was the high point of the game, rather than the focus. It was moving, emotional, in-depth, and many other descriptive words. I'm actually debating whether to give this a 4/5, or a 5/5. Simply because, the core point was the AI, so faults in the game aren't that important, but there still were such faults.
It's a random number, so saying you got it in 1 try is entirely possible, as well as saying you got lucky. Also, 10 tries is a bit too much. Follow a logical path and it becomes quite easy. Give it difficulty or something, or the number of tries allowed. For instance, choose the amount of tries you want. 3/5
This is really unoriginal. Except for the color. But really, there's another game almost identical to this. Except it came first. If you haven't played that game, I guess this game could be good. Maybe. Game kinda feels half-baked though. Well, 2/5. I feel generous.
Hmmm. I'm glad to see some originality, since having to do the same puzzles over and over simply with small changes, like graphics, or a change in level or difficulty hasn't been fun. This feels not only like a true puzzle game, but also a very well done and good one. Although much more can be done regarding this puzzle's type, I'm sure plenty of people will jump on it and all the varieties and different ideas can be seen later. The new frontier for puzzles, if I may be so bold, is this. Let's see what people come up with. For now, 5/5.
I like the concept, and it's done fairly well in the way it's done, but the way it's done can be done differently, and better. +1 for the concept, and +1 for not having it be useless. And I like it a bit, despite it being flawed. So +1 there. In total, 3/5. I think you should start fresh and try a new perspective. Some of the things, for instance the evolutionary generation bit are cool. Nice game. If you made the points, timing, and power controlled by the user, I could give it a 4/5, but at present..... I really like the concept, and would definitely like to see more. One way or another. Try to keep the science right if you can, because nature always seems to do it better than we do.
