Ridiculous difficulty increase even on the basic levels. Knowing I'm going to have to grind to beat the bosses after level 3 is just not fun, particularly with the lag in fire rate, how everything is immune to everything you have, no fun for me here. 2/5
Why are so many non-Strategy and Defense games ending up in this genre? For goodness' sake, pick appropriate tags so you can find your target audience.
Wow, how about a tutorial and a questline to teach us how to play gradually? Look at other popular sim games to see how they do it. It has potential. No rating yet.
*sigh* Your games have such potential but it seems like you just give up on them when you're tired of them and slap them up to play. Not sure if it's laziness or a short attention span. If you'd really invest more time you could come up with some sterling work. If/when you take that time you might want to look into the language of your target audience a bit more, as well, or get someone to help you with it. No rating because it has potential, just like all your other games.
Thanks for the responses in how to target a specific bad guy! It's kind of clunky, though. It would be nice if we could select multiple plants at once by outlining them with the mouse or shift-click or something.
I loved the first one, and the second seems to be great as well! Just a few things. A speed up button and target designation would be great! When you have five different plants all shooting five different targets it gets a little tedious! It's still a solid 4/5 though.
Three stars for the horrendous pathing. If you would fix the jellies taking the longest, most tortuous route available, the rating would definitely go up as it's a pretty fun game!
Yeah, starting with level 13 it does ramp up unexpectedly. The large flying monsters are a wee bit unbalanced. Might want to tone them down just a little.
Despite the numerous complaints about the chaotic pathing, you keep defending it. It's not "challenging" and I'll tell you why. Once we figure out which way the spiders are going, we'll restart the level. And yes, ridiculously imbalanced. Inaccuracy when you can only build a single tower, again, isn't challenging, but frustrating. Different does not mean better.
The graphics are adorable! I really like them! But the targeting is very strange, it switches targets from a wounded one in front to an undamaged one in back for no apparent reason, even though the wounded one is still in range. Also, not crazy about the fact that your lumber and stone resources are all but static from the beginning of the level. It says 15 wood/minute (wow that's slow), but I have yet to have any kind of wood regen. That severely limits the gameplay, and part of the fun of TDs is using the upgraded towers. And tower upgrades themselves are insanely expensive. And yes, please please please add a speed up button. I don't understand why devs don't have this standard on ANY TD game. With such limited resources, we really need to be able to sell towers, as well. I know this seems like a lot, but I really think this game is adorable, and I'd like to play it. No rating yet.
Wow, very chaotic. What am I supposed to do with the gold bars and potions that drop? I can't seem to pick them up. Also, letting the player start the waves, or giving us more time to set up defenses is a must. Particularly on the tutorial screen. No time to read it and play around with it to see what's there before creeps are already flooding the screen. Other than that, fun little game.
