Either I'm pretty good at this or it's a bit shorter and easier than I expected... Either way, absolutely love it and would love to see some new mechanics and/or diversity in COLORUID 3 !!
How far does this thing go?!! I've been Prestiging away like a mad thing. The graphics are off as the screen is a bur of balls. The achievements were completed a long time ago, so it's now just a game of big numbers!!
Any chance of some more functionality or awards/levels/mechanics etc?
First things first: I love the game. I think it's briliantly devised with a just enough puzzle elements to keep it from being just a long mystery story.
My problem with it is that there is now such a long gap between chapters, I'm struggling to keep the momentum of narrative in my mind; it's becoming a bit disjointed. I checked in today to see what was new and I realised I had no idea of which was the last episode I'd played - even after I ran through a dozen screens of the latest... :(
I would suggest that the dev releases future episodes in batches - even if this means we have to wait longer.
Hate to say it, but I've lost the enthusiasm with this... :(
Sorry...
To those people posting high-score comments and getting down-voted: remember - no-one likes to see others sharing how well they've done; they'd much prefer to hear about failures and negativity. Watch me prove my point by seeing how many downvotes this comment gets. :)
Not sure what to make of this to be honest - a lot of dev work gone into the set-up, looks, feel and presentation of the thing - but then lots of levels that I can only describe as a bit rubbish. Come back, Cyclomaniacs!! 2/5
Nice game but honestly speaking, the game development got a bit lazy halfway through. i.e. Here's a shape, make some edges flash and sling in some balls. I'd like to see a bit more planning and innovation. 3/5
Question: why bother putting 5 sets of those blocks you can smash in a row? Answer: Because it's fun to walk through them and smash them! Conclusion: Nice little touch to a great game. 5/5
Here's a suggestion: how about when you've completed a map, you are given a multiple choice of 4 itms that it could be. I point scored for each correct choice. For example, a completed road could easily be: a donkey, a car, a pencil or New York. It would add some fun to the game - particularly as each shape is utterly unlike its picture anyway!!
First of all, I do love the game. Very well done 5/5.
BUT the best part is trying to guess the shape. I usually leave the last puzzle piece until I've had a stab at a guess. And, MAN ALIVE the shapes and pics are absolutely terrible! I'm thinking: "Is it a boat?" then I find it's actually a carton of McDonald's fries. Brilliant, hilarious, possibly unintentional but wow - what a laugh! Please keep the shapes this vague and bad if you make a sequel. You still get 5/5!!!
In amongst all the wonders that Kong provides us with, this is the game that I just keep on coming back to. Theraputic excellence amidst a world of weary shoot-em-ups and endless idle banality. 5/5 as always.
