Cool, at least this helped. I was avoiding bossy tutorials at all costs just to make players able to complete the mission if there is some bug. As this is a MMO game and there are hundreds of unique situations which i cannot reproduce and other players might encounter. But as i know 2nd mission is possible to be buggy, i will try to break the game to reproduce that part also. Maybe you just did something unexpected to me.
I was idly fishing for debris when I heard a horrifying noise. Turns out a chicken killed me when my back was turned. It's always the ones you least suspect!
Continue to be shocked by how good necromancer+risen giant is. Swapped to Abolisher just to break things up, gave it 6 hours, never earned enough mysteries even to register. 4 minutes of necro+RG and I've gone up e3. Go, you big spooky boi!
It's just... every part of this is bad. The energy system, the p2w mechanics, and the combat... the combat should be the ONE good aspect but it's just weightless and boring.
Phew! I found Gloria a lot harder than it should have been. Winning strategy was to let yellow get huge (knowing I could cut off their army with two units at any time) and fight purple while I killed red and slowly advanced castles north to a favorable position. Decapitate yellow, then slowly push on purple from both chokepoints!
Finally unlocked T2 classes. The scaling on Shaman isn't what I hoped. Even after leaving it on overnight, it only accumulated about ~20 minutes worth of profit versus just staying necromancer.
Love the new 'choose your start' level. I went for the far north so I could eliminate red the first turn and only have to worry about 1 front the whole game. Victory in 20!
After trying so many different combos, I find nothing more reliable than necromancer and risen giant. A quick setup, close the game while your pet levels to absurd % boosts, then blast every incantation and magic missile until you're raking in mysteries.
Booted game up to check out the achievements, got a popup that I'd been offline for 3 years and had a quadrillion spell points. What a way to say welcome back!
The new tutorials are great! I struggled through the early levels when it first came out, but the new levels and the stuff in the sidebar are excellent. I've beaten all the current content, but the Conquest mode is always good for a match (crowded+unfair is my favorite combo for sheer madness).
