Level doesnt effect efficiency when you upgrade. The new tower will simply be the level of the highest one of the two you used to evolve - so dont waste resources leveling both. Also, make sure for rare+ Towers that you combine Tier 2 with Tier 2. You'll get +5% stats this way.
I hate to say it but, as Celeborr said, these issues and how they are handled is indeed eroding away at this lovely game. If ferx is unable to correct the trade issue in a timely manner, then you should higher a freelance coder to do it. In the time that the trade system has been down, an entirely new trade system could be been developed from scratch.... I say this as professional programmer.
Should not call it "Activate Critical hit" - instead, "Display Critical Hit". Activate suggests that turning this off will make us not able to critical hit.
Forge needs a bit more power late game, at least from clicking. Doing Udanium, I mine and smelt well over twice as fast as I forge. Levels are fairly balanced (based on cost) - 20 levels between each (1050,1030,1010)
Would like achievements to persist through ascensions. Also, would be nice if you it "remembered" the highest items you crafted prior to ascending so you dont have to do each item one by one again.
What I said about the captcha still stands. Quite honestly its a foolish way to try to implement anti-botting. If a script kiddie really wanted to bot this game, there are numerous anti captcha services he could use for roughly a penny per captcha. So ultimately all you do is annoy actual players. Theres no reason that I should have to stare at the screen while doing something mindless like fishing - let me look away for 5mins while it accomplishes its task.
Ratios really get whacky mid game and even whackier late game. Since you start needing higher ore:bar ratios, which is fine. Level wise though, my OCD dislikes it. IE: Auto Mine 242 Auto Smelt 121 in order to maintain a 1:4 ratio.
Would love more uses for gold end game. Buying weapons/ammo. Temp stash spots. Etc. Once you've leveled all the way up, switch the 50 coin levelup bonus to something slightly more useful (by that time we've maxed out the blacksmith).
Beat the game and wanting to level? Outfit yourself with some block%, enemies give heart%, max hearts +2, and something to increase weapon/ammo drops from enemies. Then post up at the final boss and kill minions until you get bored.
When you use freeze, the little spawned monsters become invincible :/. When you take the shortcut you several more weapons + levelup stash items should be dropped onto the floor. Fun time kill all in all.
