Great game. 1 The perk quests add a very nice touch by having characters give bonus missions for really nice add-on abilities. 2 one of the perks that would really be appreciated is an auto-collect feature so you dont have to stop shooting to collect money. 3 there are weapon balance issues. this is possibly the one game where a shotgun has felt weak. 4 the last few missions amp up the difficulty very high as you get mauled whiled reloading even when youve upgraded it to the maximum.
Nice game. two things needed are different levels, and permanent upgrades to the default weapon. its really bad when you dont keep up chains of weapon powerups because all you have default is a single machinegun.
I dont think im going to play this a second time. I have to DRAW my own robot? WHAT!? plus the matchmaking sucks. I cant beat the first opponents I get.
I dont get this game. The first battle I was in took 10minutes and i got curbstomped. every battle after that was easy, because I could produced 2-8 times as many units as my first fight. the units themselves are odd, as the first unit of every race-tree is cheap and produces energy needed for in-battle-improvements as well as more ships making it the ultimate cannon-fodder. the actvated abilities dont seem good because they require a ridiculous amount of energy, and grinding for upgrades takings far too many battles. the only time I got a high amount was the first battle that i was curbstomped in.
After FINALLY finding someone to game with, its clear multiplayer needs tweaks. battles should have a "quick battle mode" to get people in quickly, the different maps and modes should have something telling you how many people are in each map, and finally for multiplayer, players should be able to drop into already started matches.. Id REALLY like to see a lock-on feature, as long-range combat can be extremely unbalanced. the earnings for each map should be much higher. I only get 30 points per match, and with a required number of upgrades needed just for a tier 2(out of 5) vehicle, Itll take around 70 matches. That makes multiplayer as much of a grindfest as WORLD OF TANKS.
its pretty basic for a lane-defense game. Why dont any of them have creative upgrade systems? Id like to see one like this where you upgrade your guys from baseball bats, to sword, then chainsaws, or upgrading from pistols to assault rifles, to sniper rifles. I keep playing games with upgrades. Heroes would be a very nice touch.
Still waiting on a working game. Very poor single-player, no cooperative-play, and multiplayer is still non-existant. I wouldnt be complaining so much if the single-player was working. This could be a great game, with updates to give storyline missions, factions, new vehicles, etc. but its unusable right now. sure its in Beta, and not Proto-Alpha?
Its been nearly 2 weeks since it was launched but the game is still barely functional. Single player has only 3 vehicles with no upgrading. Multiplayer has over a dozen vehicles and an upgrade system, but its non-functioning.
Chaos, this game is intended to be a multiplayer game, so that's where our focus of attention has been. We're working on getting the android version ready for release and we're implementing a store for in-app purchases. We'll have to make money with this at some point you know ;)
Soon we'll release an update on the webplayer with the following updates and fixes:
-Fixed matchmaking issues
-New battle music
-New tank engine sound system
-Overlapping text bug fixed
-Bug with aim sensitivity fixed
-Online player requirement set to 2 (was 4) to play an online match
the multiplayer is dead unfortunately. the most players ive ever seen is 3 and usually its just myself. this game lacks the upgrade system to keep people playing solo, but in multiplayer mode it requires active players. I really do like the graphics, but Im just checking in every day to see if the single-player has been improved.
I really wish that's something we could fix for you guys right now, and maybe we can add the upgrade system to the single player mode in the near future. But at the moment we have some very hard deadlines considering we're planning to release on Android very soon.
Some things we're working on now:
-Getting the Android version ready
-In-App purchases for Google Play and an in-game store
-New battle music
-New tank sound system & menu sounds
-Overlapping text bug fixed
-Fixing bug with aim sensitivity
-Online player requirement set to 2 (was 4) to play an online match
-Changing the textures for all the tanks
Our aim is to create a fun multiplayer experience for people across different platforms. I hope you'll still be able to enjoy the game even though our focus is not on single player!
Im OK with this game being a little cartoony, but why is so much of the game invested in multiplayer, which nobody seems to use? I found of that the tech trees, money, and upgrades are in multiplayer and its empty.
The problem is that offline and online with a server connection are two completely different things. If we'd want to add bots to the multiplayer, the bot scripts would have to be massively adjusted which puts a huge strain on our programmers while we're already working on lots of different things. We're hoping the multiplayer part will pick up soon, but if it doesn't this is something we'll definitely have to consider.
Thanks a lot for the feedback!
very interesting, but the game "tricks" you into building the toughest minion, when the highest damage ones as the lowest tier. basically dont make bosses, spam the basic guys.
the branching upgrade system is nice, but alot of upgrades either contradict each other or are must-have for later upgrades. One major thing I want is to upgrade to "ammo" and "reloading" speed of each weapon. even when you upgrade to flamethrowers, lasers, and firework launchers, you have to wait constantly to reload.
nice basic setup for a game. 1 a larger variety of tanks would be nice. 2 using the 3rd person mode to shoot is a pain, but in 1st person you cant see when your tank is facing. 3 some kind of upgrade system would really make this game a longer play, such as upgrading the Is-85 to an is-122.
Thanks for playing :)
Currently we have 15 tanks available in multiplayer which you can unlock by playing multiplayer battles. It also features a basic upgrade system, but it needs to be fleshed out a bit more.
More tanks will be added later, as well as many more improvements, so stick with us as we're working on the game!
