Bug fixes need post-patch are #1 fix the purple-pink effect problem. its gotten worse so the majority of a fight can be colored wrong. #2 planet protection is down, allowing too many planets open to attack and defense.
#3 the points necessary to take planets has gone from 50,000 to 1.5MILLION. just...what the hell?
There should be some new effects on weapon and parts #1 That prevent evasion, #2 prevent critical strikes, and #3 weapon accuracy should be a shown statistic.
#1 crit rates that low? Bullcrap. 2 star pilots easily get 20% with upgrades, 3 star close to 30%. I dont have any 4 star pilots, buts its probably around 40%. #2 high accuracy/range shouldnt be a penalty as velocity travels somewhere between the speed of sound and the speed of light, so a mech shrugging wouldnt do jack. #3 the game is easy to progress but theres no story, no single player, and constantly getting junk with a 1%-0.1% chance to get better gear just makes this game a nearly infinite grind. Pilots are even worse as you need EXACT combinations of abilities as many abilities are not useful.
this game really needs a way to actually upgrade your characters instead of tying skills to equipment. its only made worse by making characters specialized in certain equipment pieces.
This game is very similar to the Rebuild zombie series, but worse. getting new characters is pretty random, but necessary to have a working economy. the characters themselves have no actual statistics, its all based around a multiplier for equipment, so a character good with a rifle can be terrible with a shovel. You cant upgrade characters, so theyre highly specialized. getting the items is also a problem as its largely based around making your characters collect random equipment. Expect 80% or so of your characters to be doing jobs and only a few fighting.
this game needs a more controllable item system. getting literally THOUSANDS of junk parts for just one higher tier part, that may even be poor quality, is a grindfest.
This game really needs to balance out the winstreak. one loss reduces what you win from battles by 80% requiring you to start all over. bugs with constant misses, evasions, and critical rates turn certain victories into losses.
this game needs tweaks. units should not lose weapons for any reason. its a major problem collecting weapons then losing them any time a unit dies. enemies shouldnt keep evolving on missions, it makes low level missions very difficult. units should be able to carry extra ammo instead of making guns useless after firing a couple times.
It would be nice if there were hotkeys for skills and equipment. Some kind of toggle feature for skills would be nice. Also, changing whether you want your mech to move forwards or backwards.
the Ignite skill is way too powerful. It has a guaranteed chance to hit, and does 115% damage for only 150focus. either damage should be nerfed or accuracy reduced.
Maybe there should be a way to add, remove, or change abilities on pilots instead of hoping for ones you like? 2 star and above equipment could also have this.
When enhancing parts and pilots, the total experience level of the items fused should be totalled up. this way you dont start over completely when swapping out weapons and pilots.
There need to be some tweaks. You need to be able to sort parts and pilots by various stats, such as level, power required, health points, etc. You need to be able to see pilot abilities while "enhancing" so you dont accidently dispose of one you want. There should probably be a single-player offline type mode where you fight bots instead of high level players you cant beat in Clan Wars.
Its not a bug but a serious flaw is the random rewards. Everything you dont actually want is just junk. getting a good weapon for example is very hard, let alone upgrading your whole mech. battles end up being stupidly one-sided as people who actually paid CASH for this game have super units that cant be beaten by anyone else who hasnt done the same.
Having finally finished the game, its great. Early on, your hummer is made of glass and your guns can barely kill anything. Grinding for upgrades is massively important. later on EVEN WITH all upgrades, the game keeps a high level of difficulty by increasing enemy numbers. the lag is a major problem, suddenly freezing my mouse, so I have to quickly pause and unpause. this actually killed the final cutscene for me, as I it was so slow I could barely hear anything coherent. being able to replay it would be nice.
nice game, but has some faults. the shield ability is WAY overpowered, granting you total immunity to damage, and dealing damage to your enemy. the different mechs are kind of pointless as their special abilities come with major faults like low accuracy, high energy cost, self-damaging.
Just started playing but it seems better than the first. The need to stop and search areas is good and bad, while the game is much more fighting based. the first game was heavily about avoiding the enemy as you had limited ammo per life.
