Okay. It's a fantastic concept, but the execution needs a bit of polishing. The thing that needs to be fixed first and foremost is the controls. This game is all about precision and memory, and it's hard to make accurate jumps when your character moves left and right so quickly. Reduce his top speed, and also give him about half a second to accelerate to that top speed, to facilitate those pixel-perfect jumps. Also, I find that jumping is much easier when mapped to any key besides the up arrow. The other suggestion I have is to make bullets a little more visible, by giving the actual bullets black borders, and giving their afterimages red borders.
There really should be a small warning before submarines sink. I keep dying because I jump onto them at the exact moment they decide to go down, and I don't even get a chance to react.
Pfft. That guy is a total pussy. Doesn't he know that butterflies and flowers and sparkles are for little girls? Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to watch an MLP:FiM marathon on my iTunes.
I don't think Spinners should suddenly lose all resistance to spells at level 60, as that makes the final boss too easy. Instead, their resistance to the wrong spells should be (200-2*Level)%, where greater than 100% means they heal from your spells. So from Level 50 onward, they start taking damage to all spells, but the wrong spells are still less effective. (A similar reduction of resistance should be applied to Blocks as well.)
Bombs will frequently get stuck on the walls and stop moving. Also, there are several points globes that immediately fall off-screen as soon as you approach, making them impossible to collect.
Level 10 is much too long, and should be split into several levels. If you mess up a jump even once (and it's easy to do with the slippery controls) you'll hit an enemy wrong and lose a good 2-3 minutes of progress.
Yeah, this level makes me angry! But I intended to make this level a little hard, to put some difficult for the players. I like old plataform games (like Mario), when we play it, some levels are hard, and some are easy (remembering also that here we don't have a life system).
But thanks for your constructive criticism!
Oh, it's on the TODO list, don't worry.
