Good game. Would be great if you cleaned up the hooking mechanics so that the hook wouldn't drift through objects sometimes and latch onto nothing other times.
Magirik thought, "I'm a badass, I'll hack the scores for 1000 points on survivor." And then Jessejames11 was like, "Well I'm 50 times as badass as Magirik."
Made it to the last boss without losing a life, then won the final battle with 4 lives left.
1: Always keep moving in right. It reduces the chance you fight more than one guy at a time.
2: For Archers, block each arrow shot as you approach then start hacking when you get there. Everyone else, just walk up and start hacking. I generally did forward + attack then just tapped attack over and over. The combos sometimes screw you up. Jumping is generally a bad idea, kind of random.
3: If you find a spear, throw it at the next guy. If extra spears drop, make sure to stick around and use them too. They're a free kill.
4: First four bosses, kick them, then tap attack, then repeat. If you just kick, it takes longer and you're more likely to make a mistake.
5: For the last boss, try to move away as you attack to stay at the right distance. When you die, maintain distance and slash as much as you can while you're invincible.
This made the hard badge very quick. Hope it helps.
All I have left are frequent flyer and clearly devoted. I would say those take much longer than bona-fide millionaire which is ranked "hellish" All you have to do is get the spawn upgrades, get every goose you can as quick as possible and rack up points before the obstacles show up. Also, jittering the mouse while you're waiting and moving keeps the geese closer together.
If you want to make it easy on yourself, save before each level and reload if your chest gets damaged. This gets you an extra 1k per level and makes the game quite a bit easier.
Seems like guaranteed 1 legendary for 2000 is a rip. I bought 5 20 packs for 2300 each and got 7 legendary, along with 93 other cards. Also, I'm curious if you tried programming an AI so that it would play an actual deck, instead of just sending out a preset list of units. It might be worth adding to take the game to another level.
I was pretty conservative with my money but was not anywhere close to fully upgraded when I beat the game with 3 stars on every level (had the 15k ship and lvl 5 minigun). Maybe there should be more levels or a challenge mode, because there was still a lot of upgrading left to do without a point in completing it.
Also, a lot of the spells are nearly useless because of how long the casting time is. For example, damage spells other than fireball are only good for your first hit because fireball does more damage per second because it fires so much more quickly.
