Welp, I just came to Kong today like I do every day, only to find my most recent still-uncompleted games all wiped, including this one. I can't even start a new game. It's been a good run. RIP Kongregate & RIP Pixelo. You were one of my favorites. Thanks for everything.
The actual game never loads for me. I get past the splash screen, select a new game, pick the chapter, and then the gear door closes... and keeps running forever. I've tried turning off adblockers and restarting multiple times.
So... how exactly am I supposed to beat a boss that disappears anytime I get close enough to attack, and all my minions have died 3 enemies into the location?
Imagine my surprise when it took looking at the walkthrough for the LAST level to learn that lasers *block* you instead of *killing* you. Seems like that mechanic should have come up earlier.
If you cheat to the endscreen by using the right click flash menu, the text will still say, "You finished the game in 00:01 minutes! Try harder!" Apparently, only milliseconds would be noteworthy. Perhaps nanoseconds.
Welp, good thing I already earned all the badges 7 years ago because even after turning off all my ad blockers and whatnot, I'm still getting a black screen after running the sponsor logos.
Story mode endgame is pretty terrible. Normally, a save point right before the big boss fight is great! But here, it means that you get no chance to earn additional points before an onslaught of one-hit killers. So, if you spent the drive upgrading your vehicle and settled for tricking out your standard issue weapons, you do not have enough power to take out everything that you need to. Plus, any civilians that you managed to keep stashed away for the achievement are now gone.
I got stuck right at the end and thought that I had traversed the entire map looking for hidden entry points. I had to look it up. Turns out I missed one section, but I know that I went down that hallway. Either I missed that single block by checking out the few squares nearby, or else zipping down the hall didn't trigger it? It would be great to have some kind of hint as to where that last entrance is, or at least have the "reveal hidden boxes" radius be wider.
Level 38 is the worst when your boxes keep clipping through the floor upon picking them up or randomly teleporting to their origin instead of portalling properly.
hints in one of the notes, but yea alot of people overlooking it! I could have made that better to find.
