You can also load it back forth between browsers to double the impact of the money. I tested it, the levels were exactly the same on both browsers, but one had a ridiculous amount of MORE money.
I noticed an interesting bug. So, for some reason, I wanted to load the game in a different browser, to test it from the beginning, without having to lose my current levels. So I loaded it in FF (My primary browser is Chrome). And not only did FF load the game from my current level in chrome, but it also gave me a buttload of a money. Like, septillions. As a result I had buttloads of Angel investors. So I reset. And started over again. It appears that the higher the levels, the more pronounced the effect is. But seems like a quick cheap way to get quick money.
Does the cost of the upgrades go up with the angel investors? I seem to get stuck right around the 200 mark for everything. Can't seem to make enough money after that to have mass upgrades. Can only upgrade one or two times.
My only complaint. So far now that I've gotten the battle aspects figured out. The warning tells me they can't do me harm, but informs me to retreat. I have higher offense, higher population, and higher defense, and I still lose (my colony retreats) and I lose ants. If I retreat in the first place, I lose the same amount of ants. How am I stronger than them, but still lose, and how do I lose the same amount whether I fight or retreat? I can't even fight anyone anymore, even with a full nest and 50% of ants set to my soldiers with full upgrades. At lvl 112.
How is it I maxed out my offense and defense abilities, but still have to retreat from everything? I can't pull ants from food duty, because if I do, I lose tons of food (despite upgrading those as well). I have a massive nest, which is supposedly going to increase my defense as well (even though my defense is half my offense, always).
What did I miss here?
There needs to be a way to select all planets at once. It's a little frustrating to drag your mouse all over the screen to collect them and then send them to the planet, when the AI is able to do it one the fly.
Ok, the new features help. But I fell like there's something I'm missing. Later levels I still seem to get slaughtered because the AI is able to steal your planets, which cripples your production capabilities, and then they just destroy you. I had a fleet of 200 ships, against 50, and still lost because they kept fleeing immediately and stealing my planets. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong though.
Also, the lack of the ability to select multiple planets REALLy sucks. I have to click on each one, yet they can send ships continuously from all planets?
This is a HUGE step down from the first one.
Sorry about that, I've returned the ability to select multiple planets. You can also use the slider on the bottom or number keys 1 - 0 to split your forces. Please try the game again with these changes and let me know your feedback.
Yeah, the AI just runs away all the time, steals planets, and then slowly whittles me down even though my fleet is like 4 times their size, all because I can't maintain planets because my planets aren't building fleet ships to augment said fleet that's getting whittled down, and I can't leave ships behind (that I can tell yet).
Needs work, the first one was epic.
I have spent 5 minutes trying to kill the enemy on a level, but they just run away every time. That's kind of an annoying thing, and int he process (because I can't send half my fleet yet), I just lose planets the whole time because they can whittle me down with their 30 ship fleet, while my 120 ship fleet is too busy chasing them.
At first I was confused about the Angel Investors, cause no matter what I did, it said I had zero. Then I accidentally hit reset and found out I had 993. That changes everything :D
Instructions for killing the boss were to "hold the space key" and "hit the arrow combo." I held the space key, hit the combo right, and nothing happened, and I had to start over.
I really don't want to respond in an official capacity, buuuut.... We're fixing this. I'm very sorry. There will be more upgrades though!
