My wizard has stopped moving, and will not accept manual commands, and won't act in AI mode. The arrow thing keeps randomly moving at the wall like he's trying to run away, btu he won't move. And his bars aren't showing up underneath him.
How high will the score go on survival before the game breaks? I have two wicked mega towers on survival, and I'm up to wave 407, and advanced it from about wave 200. And they don't even make it out of the opening gateway.
I know you guys have been getting a lot of requests/complaints, and I've sent a few of them :D But I just want to say despite any bugs or early issues, this game is very well designed/developed and very fun to play. I might be playing it for a while.
Maybe have it where you get 50%, or 25% honor replaying levels, because it gets hard later on real fast. Like when you spammed me in level 8 or 9 with healers and knights :D
Also, last question, when you purchase the other 3 warriors, do they get automatic honor based on what you've received so far? Because by the time you can get them, they don't have anything, and you can't go back and replay levels to bump them up to the other three, so it seems kind of a waste to buy them at all. It would be nice if they got like 75% of the honor and 50% automatic stones so you could catch them up. Otherwise they're at a total disadvantage and are a waste of stones.
This shouldn't be a problem now that you can replay levels for honor. If you want to start using a new hero late in the game, just go back and play a few levels to get his attributes caught up!
Love the new upgrades. Makes the game much smoother and more enjoyable to play. Balance seems to be much better too.
2 questions though. 1. What does faith do? IE; what exactly does the leap ability to do, because I haven't seen a faith attribute or anything. Is it like a morale thing, where if they're getting pounded they give up? Does it boost all attributes in some way?
2. What does learning do exactly? I know it improves something, but it doesn't clearly state what? Does it increases the honor you receive each battle? Does it lower costs of attributes?
I know you're keeping with a theme of the tone of everything in the game, but stating it a little more clearly would help plan strategies and upgrading.
Haha, well, the word "faith" is only in there as a kind of cheeky reference to "leaps of faith." I assure you, there is no faith involved in the game mechanics ... or is there ... ... ... ? Anyway, as for attributes like Learning, everything they affect is exposed through the Tooltips. There are no secrets, but you may have to do a little digging to find out how all the stats/attributes/abilities are related!
AI needs to be tweaked. It's kind of annoying when my Mage is waiting for his Mana to replenish just to cast summon dwarf, when I would rather have him healing.
And I can't figure out why, but my Ranger keeps running away and not striking anyone. He has the fire bow ability and is set to ranged, but for some reason he runs away from a kobold that killed my knight.
Hmmm ... currently, ranged AI modes prioritize being "behind" a melee-style ally before they use their attacks. It sounds like maybe your knight got low on HP and started running away (south), and the ranger followed? We'd love to hear some more feedback about this issue, and will certainly keep working to make the AI modes smarter.
Well, it was a deliberate design choice to make death permanent ... tho, now that you mention it, allowing the player to spend Keystones or something to revive a dead hero is not such a bad idea ...
... what do others think?
Ok yeah, if you cover 90% of the whole run with obstacles, and then set the game that if you even touch a box it causes massive damage despite maxed armor, that's poor design. 1/5
Also, why put SO many obstacles that I can't avoid, only to make them cause damage. What is the point of unavoidable damage that makes the level more difficult, without a way to repair on the fly. Balancing and difficulty make this game unenjoyable.
