I feel like the game's difficulty is often at odds with itself. If it didn't restrict which pieces you move, there would be multiple solutions. But, when it restricts which pieces you can move, it gives the solution away. Still an interesting game though. 5/5
A tip for those looking to fill out the roster quickly: go into an area with rock star and either penguin, scientist, or P.I. Shout once and the rock star will reveal all the characters while the other stops the mimics from responding.
When the best 5 comments all address the same problem with the game, it makes me question why this game has badges, and then why one of those badges is required for a particular challenge.
Fun little time waster. A few annoying things though. First, being stuck with 5 guys who you can't change without being set way back is annoying. It would be nice if we had ~8 guys but could only bring 5 with us each battle. It would make experimenting around easier.
Also melee units back up between attacks. How far they back up is inversely proportional to attack speed. That makes the legionaire near useless once his move speed upgrades, since he's meant to be a good defensive/tank unit but half the time he ends up behind the archers. Fix this!
To everyone that says they can't beat ninja champions before they reach the gems... It possible. The meteor spell fully upgraded deals 400 damage (200 base+50 per lvl) and can damage them while invisible. Wave 40 ninja champions have 1750 hp. So 5 meteors can kill them. With the spell fully upgraded you only need 100 mp to cast. Fully upgraded you can have 500 mana. So its just barely doable in the right conditions. Unfortunately that requires all of those (except meteor damage) fully upgraded, so if you don't have that, hope to get lucky with the first tower attack hitting it with freeze, fear, or daze.
The most annoying thing in this game is the most expensive wheel upgrade causes the tanks to tip over. So its pointless. Nothing is more annoying to save and spend on a super tank only to have it flip itself and be completely useless. Also there needs to be more control. This could have been done so much better.
Too Easy. I liked the turret/upgrade system, but it needed higher costs/less money earned. I often maxed more than 1 part in a single go. Also screen needs to be bigger, even on the first level I was killing 90% of enemies off screen.
horrible controls. And often the game would lag and the balls would suddenly end up on the other side of me without having intereacted with my ball at all.
Fun but somewhat luck based as all the atoms are in random places and it often takes them a long time to align properly or you can start over and they're already perfectly aligned.
Great game! But too much going on at once should have done away with a blops. Several times where things slowed down and froze up because there was too much on screen. Removing Blops would have done this.
I literally left my computer alone and went and did other things for a several waves, came back and hadn't lost a single life. I don't mind things on the easier side for when i don't want to think too hard, but this doesn't even rank as high as mindless. 1/5
I seem to have a problem. Once I start adding a lot to my ship, the extra buttons wouldn't go the second page. So if I manage to get anything big and cool, I've got to reconstruct my whole ship just to get it on the first page. NO FUN! Also hate it when I start searching for parts and get 2 at once after a dry spell and can only take back 1. Other than that, its a fun game.
Repetitive. It seemed like anytime it was about to get hard, I finished the set and moved on. It was like doing the start of a tower defense game over and over again without actually ever doing the second half. It really needed more depth.
Not a horrible game except the controls were glitchy for me for some reason. Often had to repeat orders several times while units got killed before they'd actually execute those orders.
italia fod is not a word. Though I got credit for an N on that one and possibly the O counted twice. Also the typical... range unit blocking other ranged and melee units problem makes this annoying... it would be nice if units could pass one another.
wow major glitch... I disbanded my party so I could create a new one with my fourth character... and those 3 characters completely disappeared. I searched all through out the menu with no luck. Well that screwed my. I was already pissed off with the turn system. This just makes things worse. Definitely dropping my rating.
