WTH? How are you supposed to kill Wooly? So lame. Game was super easy until end and now just retarded impossible. 4/5 Would have been 5/5 if ending was better.
Nice design and graphics, but having things circling around off-screen to come back at me when I'm right there at the edge is simply not fair. Bad design because of this. I still gave the game a 4/5, but this design makes me uninteresting in playing it for more than the 3 levels I did.
Heads up for NoScript users: Looks like I had to allow scripting from "tyrantonline.com" to get the game to load. I hate developers who try to inject their own scripts onto their Kongregate hosted games. If they can't do it 100% through flash then I don't play their games. Sorry synapticon, 1/5 because of your requirement for Javascript from your own site.
Lovely, game won't load at all. Just trying it out for the first time. I think it's Kongregate's fault, as it just keeps cycling through trying cdn1.kongregate.com, cdn2.kongregate.com, cdn3.kongregate.com, etc.
Playing this game is really an exercise of disappointment. Because of the title I wasn't expecting much. Then the graphics came and animation of character and others. The graphics are great for a flash game! But then everything else lacking in this game is painfully clear. 1.) control is horrid, & no diagonal attacks 2.) attacks stop the character from moving, 3.) enemies can fire at you off-screen for up or down, 4.) there are a ton of one-hit deaths? 5.) skills leveling up is retarded (unknowns there at the start, so we skip everything until we get more powerful weapons). 6.) Dropped coins and other items vanish quickly. 7) WTF is up with the annoying mole that pops up and never dies, 8.) THEIR IS NO DIRECTION TO THE STORY! Why the heck am I running around killing goblins and mages if I'm supposed to be freeing my family? 5/5 for graphics, but 2/5 for gameplay.
Not balanced, not fun, awkward tutorial, buggy, and just bland. Developer should be embarrassed and stick to making better games. Their other games were solid while this Cardian is a flop.
Randomness for the sake of randomness is not art, no matter how much you cuff randomness, tie it to a chair, and force art down its throat. Still, interesting "toy". o.O
Nice graphics, classic gameplay, and intuitive controls. Congrats on a decently polished product in many areas. Could use some music throughout it (ie: different music for each level). It could also be a bit longer for each episode. Otherwise it was way too easy. :-( Still, solid game 4/5
Nice idea, poor implementation. And of course, way overdone genre. Nonetheless, your random number generator sux. As in REALLY sux. I can win extremely difficult things, many times over, then turn around and fail many 10% missions in a row (I had four in a row like that once). That's like rolling a 1 on a 10-sided dice 4 times in a row. Crap random number generator. Again, the idea could be great, but the implementation is boring and buggy. 3/5
Whoot! Absolutely THE BEST launcher style game. Congrats authors. I rarely give this out, but this game deserves a 5/5, so I rated 5/5. You conquered the launcher class games. All other launcher games need no longer apply. :-)
Meh. I can appreciate that some people enjoy this game, more power to them. But for me, Bejeweled is leagues better. This game's pieces are annoyingly 3D-ish which makes it a little confusing to do fast when some pieces overlap others so much. And worse, when I'm focusing on matching the pieces, why would I ever care to look at the "heroes" or battles at all. While swapping pieces around I don't get to enjoy the enemy graphics because I'm not looking at them. Concept fail, but hey, glad some find it fun. :-)
