I like the difficulty: it was just high enough to get me stuck at first in a few levels, but never so high that I got frustrated. Not many puzzle games hit that sweet spot for me. And I like the minimalist and relaxed music - but also the fact you can easily mute it once it becomes a bit annoying after a while.
Yes, this is another enjoyable game! I too appreciate the omission of time limits and timing and movement precision. This is what you are a star at: light games that are good fun and that can be paced by the player!
I usually love your games because they are clever and fun. This one is way too skill-oriented for me and the time limits on certain levels detract from the fun too. Not bad, but just not my thing.
Autopause when the mouse is out of bounds would be a life-saver. Knockback should actually knock enemies back so they at least have to move (at all) before being able to hit you again. I also agree with the issues other people mentioned.
@ Self Perfection: you can only terraform areas that you control exclusively (and provided you have sufficient mana, of course). If a tile would impact an enemy structure (either negatively or positively), you cannot terraform it. Forest growth is used in combination with the flame column to 'corrupt' more squares and temporarily denying the enemy more land, making their structures easier to conquer; haven't seen it in this game yet, but in Populous you could actually see fire spread through the trees into a structure and burning it down - I figure in this game it will at the very least impact enemy folks walking on the square with a tree that catches fire. I hope this helps :)
To be honest, it took me few plays to warm up to this new game in the series, but once I really got into it, I saw how it expands upon the original game while remaining true to it, and now I LOVE it!
It would have been nice if new elements were introduced with a little explanation alongside. The first levels really take you by the hand longer than necessary, and then you are suddenly facing dynamite and need to go through trial and error (or watch the walkthrough) to figure out how it interacts with things.
Whenever I see a game with a colour as its name, I get excited. And you never disappoint! Thanks for the time and effort you put into bringing joy to others!
This game is just a heap of fun! Since my last Firefox update, games won't save any data, but I was happy to abandon the game near the end and then plan a few hours in a row to start it again. I can rarely be bothered to do that, but this game was worth it. I love it!
The opening fight really had me go 'ugh', this is just one of those over-the-top crazy games. Then when it got going for real, I enjoyed every moment of it! The ending sequence was wonderful. Games don't need to be perfect, they need to be fun, and this game sure was!
It was pretty much a drag trying to figure out which states to vaccinate once most infected states had died off due to isolation. With 65% vaccinated, I ended up winning because of eradication instead. Well...chucks.
I had some bad luck and ended up in position 10 at the end of lap 2/2, but then the race continued for another lap and I ended up in pole position, racing full-speed into a white void...and then it said I won. I like it when a game cheats to my advantage ;-)
I really want that ragdoll's planet to be destroyed. I've had more fun today at my desk working my hectic day job than playing this game. That's generally not a good sign.
No pause after the levels if you lose, way too much lag and no possibility to tone down the settings - I really dislike the lack of thought given to this.
I really wanted to like this game. The graphics are cool, the sounds are very fitting and the idea is pretty neat. But a fight is either super easy or impossible - and the tricks for guaranteed wins do not bring any joy either.
Some call the controls "clever", but I think they're fiddly. Muting the music was a chore in itself and in panic situations the pause menu kept popping up.
