Came here for the badge of the day, stayed quite a bit longer because I really enjoyed the game! It deserves all the praise it received and continues to receive!
So if getting into a car that is stationary makes me die, I am guessing this is like Speed but with explosives strapped to my body instead of to a vehicle?
I didn't get the philosophical part/message of this particular game, to be honest. It WAS however artsy, fun and it had good music, so I'm not at all disappointed.
Bit too fidgety for me with the double-jumping at times, so I won't be completing this one, but it was pretty good fun anyway - and that's what it's all about in the end!
I love it. The art, the story line, the fact you have limited options and can always figure it out with some trial and error, for which you are never punished... Eleven years old, but it still has all the elements that make a little game like this enjoyable. It is clear a lot of love went into it.
I would like to express some appreciation for not only adding a bit of plot to an abstract game, but even pulling off a plot-twist - and all of that without using a single word (except the fake message halfway through)!
I liked the original, I love the sequel!
Ugh, I agree with Thingfromthevoid: those levels with randomized stuff to use come with way too much garbage. Give me 6 turtoises and 4 poison maces in a row, but no way to deal any damage, why don't ya? Not fun at all. I like to be able to blame myself for failures.
I reached ending A and then decided getting the other endings would gravely reduce my satisfaction and good feeling. This is just one of those badges that is not worth the emotional price to me...
Although I like the concept, I have one big gripe with this game: figuring out what to do is easy enough, but you need quite some timing skills to pull those things off - often several times in a row. I personally find that pretty frustrating.
All maxed out versus computer, but no decent cards and then the game freezes. Badge not working. Feels so unfair I have seldom experienced its equivalent. If you read this before you play: be warned and consider playing something else if you are easily annoyed.
This is relaxing: no time limit, no risk of getting stuck, nice and calm music. It is not very difficult, but if I had children, I would enjoy playing this with them. (But I still enjoy it now, too.)
I really loved it. Interesting concepts, nice challenges at times and a truly great boss battle - I usually dislike timing aspects in puzzle games, but it worked really well here.
I loved this. It was retro, it was fun, it was just challenging enough to my liking, and it had a great sense of humor! This takes me back to the heyday of point-and-click adventures...
The concept is nice, but I never like puzzle games in which you know exactly what you have to do but your lack of pin-point precision while platforming is preventing you from doing it. Too bad, because the non-platforming part has been executed extremely well by requiring a button-press to prevent accidental box movement. Still, very creative and enjoyable up until that point where you (or at least I) get stuck :)
