So, are ship levels capped at 32? If so... eh, I'm not a fan of that. I recognise that this is just a free idle game, but if I'm already there in like a week of moderately active play, then no. Sorry. =[
This has the potential to be a good game, but there's a real lack of variety in the dice you can get and the port's absolute garbage. There's no excuse for releasing a PC version of a game that still uses mobile UI elements like dragging and saying tap rather than click. It's just lazy.
What I'd really like is for a weapon's quality to be adjusted depending on your Blacksmith power; that way, you know more easily when to start gunning for a new pick. =]
The one complaint I have - and it's really minor - is that I wish the shops sold mana potions. It can get damned hard without stockpiling them from the beginning, as I learned to my cost. Other than that, great job! =]
This is not worth your time. Even for the badge. This game is just plain dull, its one redeeming feature (that you can't get a ball of a particular colour after having wiped out all other balls of that colour) completely outweighed by the innumerable bad design choices. This game is not fun.
The double jump function occasionally flat-out refuses to work for me, and I have a top-of-the-range keyboard. Guh. The controls are janky, the invisible walls are infuriating, the level design beyond 30 outright tortuous - this isn't even the fun kind of pain like with SMB. I am not a fan.
Slightly annoying bug: For some reason, it won't give me the reward for the One Is Silver trophy... yet the page recognises that I've earned it. Bit miffed. Still, great game. 4.5/5
Wow, am I ever sick of the "humans are teh ebil" message here. Good game that could stand to use a little UI refinement (more visible stats, upgrade trees, that sort of thing), but liebe Gott. I don't care for the attack on humanity at all, and neither should you.
I like the gameplay as a whole, but any game whose main lore is "Humans are filthy piles of pure evil and need to be purged to make way for the pwecious animal kingdom" makes me want to find the developer and beat them to death with a hardback copy of War And Peace. Which I fully realise doesn't help my case that humans aren't evil, but sometimes things need to be done. 3/5 for the odd bug and that ghastly antihuman bullshit lore.
I got lucky with the Legendary drops, so my Ranger and Mage have Boundless Energy (100% HP & Mana refill post-battle), my Cleric has Hydraskin Cloak (50% of same), and my Rogue has Minotaur Horn (30% of same). Main level farming is a cakewalk and the only thing to give me a problem was the Pandora's Box I tried. Not doing that again in a hurry...
Hmmm... slightly annoying bug in that on the loading screen it jumps to 99,999 kb and doesn't do anything. I'm using Chrome, before some bellend tells me that my browser's the problem.
I rather enjoyed this. It's got the right balance of difficulty and one really has to use the champion (I play mage) and his abilities to deal with certain threats, which adds another level of strategy to the game. Also, you can use the teleport twice without the upgrade if you use it between rounds. Indeed, it's how I got the challenge medal on one of the maps. All in all, a solid TD experience! 4/5 because of the glacial start, but that's really the only flaw.
Love the game, love the graphics, love the upgrade system... hate the insensitive controls and occasional habit of getting stuck in the scenery. Four stars.
