well, you know, like Tyrant Unleashed and WMT before it--hell, it's made by the same people--it's more of the same. fun, but with better window dressing. pity Simpsons isn't in the mix. i would've loved to play as them. (and ftr, sound isn't always working for me. dunno why, just doesn't.)
strange that so many of the GotD lately suffer lag or bug issues, but this one plays for me just fine. anyway... always like Icy Gifts better, but it's still pretty dang fun.
i remember playing this game before. same before as it was then. everything about it is impressive: the X-Com like layout (though that's about where the similarities end), fabulous music, impressive graphics, even the story. the fact that i have a hard time getting into this game and will subsequently never finish anything but the easy badge (maybe the medium eventually) is no reason not to give it the high score it deserves. oh, and love the Aliens vibe too. that certainly helps. ;)
mmm'kay. got no idea why this popped up, really. started typing my RL name into the search cuz i was bored and... wtf, this comes up? anyway... first shot,
I'm Cranky Dash, the Hungry Earth Pony, destined to write a letter to bunnies. sounds like i'll be visiting Fluttershy, then... could see this being a good time waster for a few minutes. anyway, thanks for the laugh and background music. Winter Wrap-up, eh? those were the good ol' days....
played this a few times. still say the first is better. some are clever and funny, but the first was more so. besides, some of these are utter nonsense... so much so you almost need the hint system to get by. that's messed up.
my memory of this game is pretty bad, but i hope i'm not the first person to create both vodka and tobacco before the dawn of mankind. it wasn't intentional....
dunno if anyone's said anything or even noticed it, but the background music reminds me an awful lot of the Single Player mode from Chu Chu Rocket. not a bad thing, mind you. just curious.
nice game. only difficult boss was the lion, really. game shouldn't be too difficult or too easy, and hits it right about the middle. not sure what's going on with the Leaderboard/Highscores though: it's all kinda messed up. that boss tune was just a little grating on the ears too, but other than that, great game.
wow. first few rounds didn't mean jack since the rewards from Enigmatic Brawl were enough to make the game look broken beyond repair. on the bright side, this game can't last more than a few more years at best, so it won't matter anyway.
fun, but easy. going in w/o prior knowledge makes a no death run kinda impossible, if not for EXTREMELY subtle hints. not much reason to do all the achievements either since no real reward. still, at least there seemed to be a puzzle element to each level right up until 25. nothing there at all.
