Ugh. Another one. Almost all of this RnG type, this control scheme, arena style, esp no story, are complete crap. Even worse, ugly ass tweens and it looked like the badge doesn't work. ALT-PRT'd for a cap, but refreshed just in case and found out that I didn't actually need to report it after all. It just didn't track right in-play. Dunno if others will have same experience, but at least that's a plus. Game still blows in all the wrong ways though.
Sick of having to re-double-tap direction to start run again every blasted room. That's stupid. I didn't stop moving. That doesn't happen in other Metroidvania. Also, major speedrun killer. Why time if you don't give us the tools? Stupid.
You know when a game urges longing for WASD + mouse that it has [insert string here] for controls. It's not good enough that the easy badge took a minute to earn. Hell, if this was WASD+M, it would just be another generic top-down shooter among dozens. Feat zombies. Whoopie. I want my minute back... NEXT!!!
Also, just realized the finish last stage, then resets menu. That's just friggin' stupid. Thank goodness no speedrun highscore. Still, rank tanker. Effin rude, man.
That first background music sounds waaay to familiar and cheeky, but I can't remember what it is or what it's from. Anyway, if I go back to title and then stage it likes to turn off the music automatically. Dunno what that's about. Oh, and ftr, last level's not so much hard as it is stupidly annoying. Seriously, timing? Ugh.
I was just about to complain about broken badge and report form here, when I just now noticed the banner. If I wasn't angry before, I sure af am now. They made a broken badge BotD on purpose, knowing the form would get overfilled so people couldn't use it? #WhoTFdoesThat Not a stretch to say that someone deserves physical torture or punishment equivalent to what we've had to put up with lately. Eat my shorts, Kong. Purposefully antigonizing already rage-given gamers is retarded thing to do.
Meant to say when I first played, star character looks like a knockoff of that one companion from Digimon Adventure. Digimon are the champions, not Taffy there.
Thought this time might be different since I didn't have this badge yet. Wanna guess? It sounds an awful like the most annoying sound in the world. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Tracked my kills up to 98 (I guess 99 was just too close, lol) and then fizzled. Didn't even fully award the badge either. It's checked off, in some places, coloured in some as well, but not in others. Kong is going to the frickin' dogs.
Does anybody ever get anything for BotDs anymore? I'm getting a fat load of jack squat. Ever since they put in this stupid block thing, nothing that comes of Game of the Day works the day of. And support doesn't do a damned thing. No fixes. Not a single, blasted thing. Thinking about calling it quits. Just the playing and earning though. I'll be complaining and sending in reports until the end of time... or until they finally do something, which is probably never. Cheats and thieves, god bless 'em, they do a great job of wasting my time.
And yet, somehow, I'm also getting addicted. This stuff is like pop. Crap. On the bright side, I don't suppose anyone ever actually pays real assets on this stuff, and that makes me immencely happy.
Runners are supposed to be about speed (the feeling of needing to escape), escalation and good judgment, not dragging ever on until I wanna quit out of boredom. That's also some of the worst reverb / echo I've ever heard: pretty sure that even that 2nd Coming dude would even complain. Lastly, it looked like I was gonna get the BotD pretty quick, but almost thirty minutes in and I still don't have it. Three strikes, and you're outta here!!! (...right after I get the badge anyway...)
Hey. May seem a bit more realistic to start next mission with what you had remaining in your piece, but let's face it, who wouldn't be "trying to reload" during the story. Also, just lemme hold down the fire button, will ya? I know this thing ain't an auto, but still, getting tired of clicking.
Ah. So that's the reason none of us can go outside right now. It's not a damned virus. It's these blasted carny rabbits. And me without a holy hand grenade. Bugger.
Five riders is even easier when you realize that you can unlock via minigames or silly between-race tasks. Lava lamp and "8-ball in the 9-ball" are pretty easy. It's even easier if you upgrade first.
