My only little nitpick is that there should be a proper "Restart Level" button instead of just a button to go back to the main menu, which means having to pick the map/difficulty/challenge/options all over again if you know you've made a mistake and just want to play the exact same thing from the beginning. You get a restart button when you actually fail the level, but waiting for all your lives to be gone usually takes even longer than going back to the main menu and reselecting everything. Why not just have the restart button available from the main game screen? 5/5
So, what's the reasoning behind getting rid of the "no support" challenges? I could understand doing that for Secret Base 2 and Eskimo Town on New Game + only (because it's impossible as far as I could tell), but why remove them from the entire game? They were my favourite challenges to get, and pretty much how I liked to play the game most of the time anyway. It seems like a waste to spend money on something that gets used up when you can save it for something permanent, unless the level is just that darn hard and you need all the help you can get. Besides, the appeal of the game is in setting off chain reactions, not in just pointing and clicking to kill stuff.
Anyhow, it's not going to change my 5/5 or anything, but I'm awfully confused right now.
Great game, easily 5/5. One weird little problem I found, though: after clicking "Reset Data" and starting over, there's still gold and bombs and horns and beasts in bubbles, right off the beginning, even though they're not supposed to be unlocked yet. There's also potions, even though they don't do anything until they're "officially" unlocked with the third princess.
Many players probably wouldn't care, or consider it a bonus, but I'm a bit of a compulsive starter-overer when it comes to games, so it would be nice to reset things to exactly the way they were the first time I played it. I guess I could always just delete my cookies or whatever.

I used to think that it was pointless to use duplicate numbers (unless one of them has a - in front of it), but I just realized it's super handy for "untangling" shapes, so that you have space in the middle instead of almost pure black. Check out the sharp inner triangle!
Lots of fun, but it's kind of hard to identify the powerups as they're falling, which is very frustrating since one bad powerup can ruin your whole level. Maybe they could be colour-coded, like green for good and red for bad or something?
The first time I played this game, I took one look at the amount of story and thought "tl;dr. It's a 2D shooter for gosh sakes. Can't you just say we need to save the galaxy or something?" and quit before playing a single level. But I just gave it another try from the beginning, and I gotta say that both the gameplay and story are ridiculously awesome in this game. Totally addicted. I am now a believer in this type of game. If you make a sequel, I might even pay you a small sum. 5/5
I think this game is automatically better than the first simply because it's zombies instead of bugs. I liked Insectonator, but found it hard to play just because of the gross-out factor. You might be thinking "What, so massive blood and guts is just dandy, but somehow smashed bugs are gross?", and you'd be right. It doesn't make any sense. But that's the way it is.
Not a bad game at all, but why mouse control? Wouldn't arrow keys be better for a game like this? When you need to dodge stuff or grab a far away mineral (especially near the edge of the screen), it would be nice to be able to move as fast as the upgrade level will allow without having to worry about losing control when the cursor slips outside the box.
I will ask the developer and we'll think of something. thank you.
