I hate to fall into your little trap here, but I have to give this 1/5. I mean, I don't have a problem with Kreds or demos or any of that, and I hate to see negative comments that go beyond constructive criticism, especially automatic 1/5s given for silly reasons. But aren't you just sinking to their level by uploading a "game" that's really just a giant middle finger to Kong players?
This is the easiest 5/5 I've given in a while. This is by far the best top-down racing game I have ever played, Flash or otherwise. The clever multiplayer system is just the icing on the cake. I would still play the crap out of this if it was only single-player against the computer. And knowing that there will always be a constant supply of good tracks, thanks to other players, is going to keep me coming back for a long time. Great job.
Nice game, but I can think of some possible improvements. First, it would be nice if the scrolling wasn't so sensitive, i.e. if you had to move the cursor closer to the edge of the screen to scroll. Sometimes I just want to click on a tank, or mouse over a factory, or pick up a coin, but the screen ends up scrolling when I don't want it to. Also, I think you should be able to bring up the build menu anywhere, and automatically have the tank built at the rightmost player-controlled factory. I want to be at the front lines watching my guys kick butt, not having to scroll back every time I get enough for a new tank. Still fun though. 3/5
At first, I thought "What kind of shooter is this? It's not even possible to get hit?!", but after a while I realized it's really a neat kind of action puzzle/strategy game disguised as a shooter. I think the levels are pretty well designed around the upgrades. And yeah, a save feature would be silly in a game like this. Saving is for games that are too long to be completed in one sitting. Anyways, 4/5.
Great sequel, but there's some things I like better in the first game. For example, it was a good idea to make the weapon system a bit more complex, since in the first game it came down to "get rockets and avoid all other powerups for rest of level". But I think it's gone too far here. Weight limits? Ugh. Now I have to spend minutes tinkering between levels to try and fit all my favourite stuff on there. But, a lot of the items and weapons themselves are pretty cool, and I love the variety of different missions and side objectives. 4/5
"Gee, I really like the Storm The House games, but I think it would be so much better with a giant cursor that's bigger than the height of the screen, and jitters around every time you take a shot." 2/5
Hey, you can't fault people for trying to find a solution for level 15 on their own, instead of looking up a walkthrough. With all the crazy gimmicks employed in this game, it's a pretty good guess.
Best Idle game ever! I know that these kind of games are designed to play themselves while the player is doing other things, but it's nice to have at least a little interactivity that is at least a bit fun if you decide to actually play the game. This game has that. 3/5
I played this game a fair bit when it first came out, liked it a lot, and didn't have any problems. Now, I keep getting flash error messages every time I pause or upgrade, and I can't get through a full game without my browser crashing. What the darn??
FirestarLeader: As far as I can tell, you get points for total damage inflicted, plus a bonus for each body part fully killed. That doesn't explain why you can kill the whole body several times with the same character and get a slightly different score each time (within a couple hundred), but that's basically how it works. So, the basic strategy is: If you're killing the whole body with ease on a level, try a character with higher HP, and if you're having trouble killing the whole body, try one with lower HP. Once you unlock all the characters, though, you'll find you can get over 9000 (tee hee) on most of the levels by using the metal bear and lots of trial and error. Hope that helps.
As a joke game, it's pretty good, but the rating kind of scares me. Seems like it's been rated through the roof by many of the very people it's making fun of (as in people who always want "upgrades upgrades upgrades" regardless of how crappy the gameplay is). Or maybe many of the people who actually get the joke just find it funnier than I do. Or some combination of the two, whatever. Either way, seeing this game as Kong's all-time top shooter makes me very uncomfortable. 3/5
Fun little challenge. I wouldn't say it's too luck-based... it took me many tries to beat it after becoming fully upgraded, but only twice did I die from running out of momentum rather than just screwing up. Overall, I'd say it's better than Macro Olympics, Burn to Fry, and Sloppy Fart Weirdo put together. 4/5
