Saying 'this game is rigged' or 'its pure luck' means you have no concept of luck OR skill.. .and its like saying 'the world is flat!' or 'the tooth fairy is real!' - especially when, DUH, the programmer SHOWS you his code. Shame on the sore losers, stick to mindless shooters and don't comment on what you don't understand. 4/5 for the game.
Zaodai and others - THE CODE IS THERE. Bad luck doesn't mean bad AI, quit whining about your 'bad breaks' and accept that it is DICE. Dice roll, that's luck. And if you play the game long enough, you'll see the luck swing both ways. I've played almost 100 games and proved this point already, repeatedly.
Saying it again - claiming this game is 'rigged or fixed' is like saying 'the sky is falling' or 'the earth is flat'. Its flat out ignorant. He's GIVING US HIS CODE to look at, and explains the CPU logic in depth. If you're in denial and lack the fundamental intelligence to understand that, then leave the comments alone, you don't deserve to make them. Game is fair and balanced when played properly and intelligently.
Wow, the developer doesn't just spell it out in a blog, but SHOWS HIS CODE. How moronic do you have to be to claim its rigged after that? What next, claiming the world is flat? Geez, if you're that retarded, clearly Kongregate is too complicated for you...
I had to admire a game creator willing to submit his source code just to silence the foolish brats who whine and cry like infants because of bad luck, rather than take time to understand basic probability (or just suck at the game and complain instead of being good at it). This is an OUTSTANDING game, done well in all aspects and well supported by the developer. Kudos!
Its not a game. It IS a cool little graphics effect, yes. But there is no goal, no challenge, no method, or the other things that quantity a 'game' as such.
As if having a bug-filled game wasn't bad enough, you aren't even spelling your words right!! It's GYPSY, there's no I! What an embarrassment to yourself, dude, and Greg loses more credibility by giving this badges AND a card. Shame all around, and to those who rated it decent because it had 'ninja' in the title instead of playing it first.
Guys, badges take a minute but will show up - no need to submit score. Meanwhile, this is a very cool game, one I'll play regardless of badges, relaxing, casual, and fun. Great job!
I'd like this game more if, when I told it to jump to the right, it did just that, instead of deciding to jump left instead. Bad controls = low rating, which is more important than silly 'retro' sentimentality or a slew of points repetitive features. This didn't need a card.
1/5 for making a game that you can't win, 1/5 to Greg for giving it badges, and 1/5 to people who ranked this high enough that Greg that it was worth putting badges on. Card should have been Elephant Rave + Mr Bounce.
WOW this game is bad. First I had to restart level 2 FOUR times because apparently some new age math says 88% < 80% and it wouldn't score my level complete until the fifth try. Also getting a TON of lag despite a fast net connection and decent graphic ability. Cute and has promise but fails in the execution. 2/5
LordPhlog - you aren't seriously spouting about the alleged 'realism' of recoil when you can get shot point-blank with a Desert Eagle, twice, and casually jump - THEN JUMP AGAIN OFF THE AIR - and return fire? Enough with the 'realism of recoil' silliness, its a feature in a game that people just don't like, period.
I didn't just see someone try to justify that recoil crap as 'accurate' in a game where you get shot 12 times and don't die? ;) Anyway, game is the same ol' Thing-Thing junk with way too much graphical content for 'simple flash games', bogging down computers. Make better games, not pretty ones! 1/5 for 'nothing new to see'.
Okay, seriously - what is with the mindless 5/5'ing everywhere? Look at the games that have 4.5 or better and compare. This game IS good, simple with an effective look, but doesn't have a lot of options or different styles. It's 25 levels of puzzles, but yes, good ones with a solid interface and nifty look. 3/5
Moving shooter with shapes as enemies. Techno music. Bright colors changing each level. 1/5 for stealing the entire concept of Luminara and trying to rip it off at a poor quality. Make your own game next time.
It probably was good, but after it gets badges, suddenly everyone playing it, and its lagging something fierce. 2/5,
maybe it was playable before the badges or something.
Cute game! It seems to have issues determining the right shape, though, I've drawn a straight diagonal line and got a circle instead. Another straight vertical (sort of) line became a thin rectangle. Still, a fun toy with room for growth! 2.7/5
Wow, this is really good looking. And uh, I'm setting people on fire, so its a massive stress reliever, heh. It starts out rather simple, add more complexity and it will really be fun! 3/5 for a solid starting effort, great first game!
