Would be nice if I could see individual defense tower ranges in the yard planner, I constantly have to remove every defense tower into a corner and check their positions one by one, though I am glad I can at LEAST do that much... @gigibite: build them all and then move them all. also, a yard planner allows more precise placements.
Saying thanks to someone for helping one of your buildings out shouldn't involve a shout on your profile, but a message TO that person, it's like thanking random people for the efforts of one...
Although the whole "shiny" thing is a mess, there are a few improvements I think would do this game well. One is to have a building queue, though this should only really be for block/walls. Another would be a shortcut key to move things, like shift+click & drag.Lastly would be some sort of "mock battle" where you could test your or your friends defenses without doing any actual damage/looting or losing monsters.
@kahafer: That is true, but do remember, every puzzle comes with instructions as to how to do them. I am sure some people would vote-down for not reading said instructions, and that is not a "bad quality" of people, though it helps more to point that out or such. @kvedran: The color one isn't too difficult, though it takes some practice to get it down. I always start with something like 2G2R, and 2B2R, that usually narrows it down a lot, then I try to determine what colors and how many, if by turn 4 you know all 4 colors, you can usually figure out the order with the remaining 2 turns.
@kvedran: The instructions to each puzzle box appear with the box in question. For the 9 blue hexagons, the number next to them means how many correct hexagons are next to them (not counting themselves or diagonals). For the 2-digit ones, it should be given, something like 23+45=x, what is x (later there are harder ones). For the color one, you have to determine what sequence of colors the code is, and each attempt will tell you how many of your answer are correct and how many are correct but misplaced. Let me know if you're still confused.
@90oo: 120k isn't low to him, the price scales by level, mine costs 18M and for that money I could spend to get one enhance pot to raise my armor by 1 or my atk by 5, I could buy 3 strength (which is around 57 atk atm) or 2 constitution (which would be 184 hp for me), so I think I will just atk every time and pray I steal one, gives good exp too.
@NickBBE: *ahem*, sorry for merely implying which potion I was talking about. I fully understand that energy pots should scale in price (for obvious reasons), however I was talking about SP pots (since my earlier post though, I have found that raising a weapon skill will restore and raise max SP, and is not so much a problem anymore). Thanks for the reply though, even if it was assuming, insulting, and of little help...
Potions are sold based on level, but isn't that like selling food based on someone's age? I wish there was a way to replenish SP besides spending as much money as it takes to raise a stat... And why do I have to pay more to beggars and wishing wells to have the same affect it did at lower levels? Whether or not a donation is appreciated should not be based on a persons income, it's like the value of coins is inversely proportional to my level, which makes even LESS sense in an mmo styled game...
Holy ****, I didn't realize I could mass gem bomb a wave I would never reach in epic levels, just got 80.1 times exp, and 6 levels... now to do the other epic levels... hehehe
@j00d: I dunno, considering every NEW level I unlock (just past third epic so far) with bloodhound, all I do is 1 tower with 5 amps till last wave, and then summon 60 in last wave, build up to 10 towers, build 2 shrines, use super bloodhound gem (1k+ kills with 100%+ kills to dmg rate) on shrine and finish the level with consistent 20+ battle amulets and on max modes (non-premium), and every time I do that, I never have to retry and so far I have gotten around 13.5-17 exp multipliers on every one with a red at start... Haven't been able to pull this off nearly as easily with any other gem (though chain hit and crit work ok out of the rest)
Oh wow, just realized the xeno mothership card in mission 38 is NOT xeno mothership, never noticed that when I went through the game, would be cool if non-attainable cards had some visible feature(different colored card outline for example) so that boosted cards with same pics won't be overlooked....
@Syllabear: I am level 29 and I still buy silver packs, the fact the order of the packs were reversed means that the dev made an error (which I doubt, cause I think this dev is pretty smart) or because the dev wants people to notice/want/buy nexus packs more often. Well sorry to disappoint you dev, but I can't buy any of them till I get my Elite status...
@sudoshi: Yeah, I just started yesterday and often times il draw 4-8 pillars in a row, and this is after I modified my deck to only have 1/4 pillars with the rest as creatures (still only winning 1/3 of the time). This is the most luck based thing I have ever tried, and I'm a DM, so that means something...
Maintenance AGAIN?
*groans* I hope this deems us players some more WBs, I have been playing since the day it got on kongregate and only managed to total 38 so far (and that's AFTER the 20 from last maintenance (btw, thanks for those)).
I would love to see a "hard" mode where you go through the campaign, but you always go second instead of first (could award a warbond per mission completed too, or just much more exp&gold)
