For some reason FireFox is having issues with keeping up with ticks... It works great in chrome, but FF just "hiccups" all the time like a drunken uncle...
Just a thought, give us a way to remove mountains... Add a "mountain leveler" research, that pulls from power produced to slowly level mountains... Say 10 billion to level one mountain, and it pulls that at a max of 250k or so per second, to make it take about 11-12 hours... It would only pull power from the same map as well...
Antigaprime, simple fix, drag it to its own window, and problem is fixed!
And hoping for a "quantum research lab" option, that multiplies every other research by a small amount, for use on island, as the first map is outright useless eventually, but if it can be used to boost other maps research, it could be useful!!!
An idea for a "research" map...
Add "Quantum Research" an upgrade for each map, where it changes the dynamic for research, all existing centers are sold, and instead you have an added bonus for every research center, where each resource center built, increases every other research center by 5% or so, but with the proviso that cost to build doubles every time... (or some such)
My only real thought, is that the early game could be toned down a tad. Its frustrating being slaughtered so quickly. Also, make sure people know the special attack is on space... I didnt figure that out until like level 8 or so!
The soldier upgrades are almost useless, since they double on both ends...
Should be more like 3-4x the power if they double the cost...
And doubling the cost with every recruit kind of kills you later on as well... Maybe tone it down to 40-50% increase in cost per recruit?
Rule of thumb, if the trade up ratio is 2:1 or less TAKE IT, even 3:1 is decent... Going down, 3.5:1 is about the lowest you want to go, outside of big numbers on the first three materials, as thats the bulk of where you get combine fodder from!
We just implemented your suggestion :) Thank you for sharing!
