zlataribica: yes. when you use direct colloing(placing a vent adjacent to a reactor) you only use what you need from a vent. if the vent has 150 coolpower and the reactor warms it up for only 100, that means 50 cool power wasted.
let the reactor send its heat into the ractor itself, then extract the heat from there with one outlet and have 4 vents adjacent to the outlet. and make sure the outlet is at least as powerful as one vent. all 4 vents can now be taxed full 100%. that would be 600 cool power in this example. that would mean you could plant 6 reactors with no direct cooling. instead of 4 reactors with direct cooling.
ofcourse sometimes the reactor would fit the vent perfectly, but that might be a thing when you cannot upgrade any further and the vent/reactor would be a perfect match.
also a glaring exploit..... cant believe this is in there.
equip frugar skill >> buy an expensive machine in your reactor.
unequip frugal skill >> sell the machine for 3% more/frugal skill level.
so, i got the quest for crafting and i tested a bit. crafted a few things. THINKING these materials would come in regularly. (they do, when lvling up or from exchanging staff members, but only then.)
and ehh, then ehh, i needed to upgrade 6 staff members all of a sudden. as a quest. and guess what since i crafted a bit, at the very start, i had no materials to complete the quest.. i have materials but i am 2 short on one type of material. so, i am now soft locked.
cant complete that quest and the other milestone quest thats always doable but takes long had the wrong reward.
i did that quest and guess what, the next milestopne takes 10 times as long and it also doesnt give the required materials.
so, cant quest because no rewards give the required materials and i have no exchance option to get the correct material.
suggestion for a tiny update:
it would be nice to have +/- buttons for the isolation upgrade in the build mode for each expansion. so you dont have to pause the game for finetuning the system.
you sneaky bastard. :)
you programmed it so the pause button doesnt react, when things escalate.
at first i thought it was me not pressing it correctly, but it happens every time, lol.
somehow the heat and water likes to flow more to the upper left than bottom right.
making it impossible to have a symetric layout that is balanced.
there is something wrong with the system.
i guess its more of a challenge, but it is pretty annoying when you think of a layout and it get torpedoed by the imbalance. :/ is it a bug or is it a feature?
very nice idle game, tho.
i keep destroying a boss ship with 20+ seconds to spare and it keeps ending with a loss message.. and dosnt give the next boss nor the reward for the current boss.
here's a tip :P
when you do pvp, every once in a while you fight a large fleet that is weak.
you can use that player in a friend vs friend battle. the loot value is soly dependant on the number of destroyed ships. weak or strong doesnt matter. so, you get fast fights with shit ton of loot if the enemie is large and weak. hf gl farming. ;)
