Hey guys... Found a bug... If you only pull anything a tiny bit, it doesn't count as a pull. Thus, you can get quite a long way in some levels without using even 1...
@Senretsu: I'm full aware of the concept. But this expansion simply isn't as big an upgrade as I personally feel it should be, to be deserving of this particular award. If you disagree, vote it 5 by all means. The problem i have is that people are voting 5 without actually playing the game. THAT is not the way to judge whetehr or not a game is great... blind hero worship. It's just an opinion.
It's a little annoying when people start saying that they've given a 5 rating before the game's loaded, etc... Fair enough, the Protector series is great, and this is almost no exception, but... to be honest, there's not a big difference between this and the previous version. A few more quests, heroes et al, but really, it's little more than an add-on. And the fact that it'll win the weekly/monthly awards for a slight upgrade, I feel, is a shame. That's all...
Drake, try pressing it on your keyboard... Who knows what might happen? And Pizza dude... Have a think about what you're standing in, and see if it corresponds to anything else.
What twisted little monster did this with only 36 deaths?! I finished on 1087, and almost all of that was, like that other guy said, the bit where it says "This isn't..."
This game has real potential. However, due to the lack of grinding, it is indeed hard to keep going after level 7. I would not recommend this game to anyone using a touchpad on a laptop: My arm is killing me!
I think this may be a glitch, sorry if it's been covered already: When you complete the game, having collected all 91 treasures, the map screen permenantly displays the red logos, not just once, but generating a new one and keeping it up every time you mouse over a level. My Map screen now has thousands of info pointers so I can't see the level buttons.
spdr mnky has the right point I think... It's not an original game. The physics vehicle game has been done to death, with upgrades and racing and all sorts of fancy gizmos. Teagames have brough this form of game to the point of artform, and no-one as yet has managed to rival the smoothness of play. Unless you have a truely excepional game, in this genre, it's probably not worth it. the graphics are nice, and the track offers a new (if very small) challenge. Could be good, but those bridges are more annoying than anything else.
I really wish people wouldn't post spoilers in the comments. Other than that, this is one of the best games on Kong, however I feel it's a bit short. Beautiful music and lovely graphics. Well done Dave and Luka
Love the concept of the game, very addictive. The only thing that's wrong is the fact that even when you've failed, you have to continue till the time runs out. The addition of a reset key would make this game more playable
To say a game isn't as good as it could be because it doesn't have badges is just a waste of a comment. If the only reason you play a game is to recieve the badges, then one really shouldn't comment. I thought this was a great game, the music was inspired, and the idea unique. On some levels it feels that there have been walls placed there for the sake of it, but apart from that, suberb.
