The Realistic CPU is the most unfair of the three. Always getting perfect rolls when I'm ahead of him, and when I'm about to win, he decides to bug the game. Well come on!
How to survive in Survival: Pick Skeleton, Reaper, Confusion, Earthquake, Soul Jar and your favorite offensive skill (I used the worm, but it loses effectiveness at 4th floor). Be sure they're all maxed. Keep the two summons up, use Soul Jar as often as possible for regenerating mana, use Confusion when there are a few enemies that can attack, use Earthquake to remove progress (25% taken out) and use your offensive skill to take care of troublesome targets, like the Sun God. This is an easy yet effective method to protect the top floor and remove any progress they can make if they manage to kill your summons.
The game indeed has no sound, and it is intended. It's supposed to be a game you run in the background, you don't want to have random sounds preventing you from enjoying whatever else you are doing at the same time.
I was bored, so I decided to play this again. And it's still fun! And the music, even thought I've kept it in my playlist for so long, is still amazing!
Well, dunno. If you look on every of his messages (thought there aren't lot left anyway with the deletion of his blog), he keeps making sound like he wants to continue working on AKS2. He never said he stopped working on it, he just didn't give any new for over 6 months.
While the idea was very interesting, I personally did not like it. Reason for it was that everything was illogic. How, by only changing the camera's view of point, I can get from one side to the other side of a platform, I have absouletely no idea. Thought I suppose it wouldn't have worked as well if that logic was there.
I decided to start at Hard for the badge. After three tries, I succeeded. This game requires a "Insane" mode where you have almost no room for dodging, I'm sure our craziest gamers are not satisfied with the hard mode.
