The clothing should be awesome but it's so annoying to try and manage what you have, what you don't have, and it feels just really tedious to play this game.
I'm not sure why people say the controls are smooth because they're not. The jumps are way too tight for this kind of gameplay, I was constantly jamming the keyboard because I wasn't jumping far enough. That wouldn't be so bad but the gameplay is really boring, there isn't really a lot to solve and it's just jumping around and if the jumping doesn't work for me then there's literally nothing else.
I absolutely hate the controls, it's so unresponsive on my keyboard and I don't know why. I mean in the sense that it won't recognize it unless I jam it harder than I normally do on my keyboard. I shouldn't have to do that and that does force me to give it a lower score, this is something that should have been ironed out long before.
It's a great game but a few misfires. What's the point of fuel ? I never felt like I was running out of fuel but there are so many upgrades for it. Instead, I always felt flying woefully slow. It adds challenge but the running and jumping was so much smoother that I wished I was just running and jumping, except that you can't do that with so many airborne enemies.

My ship is literally inbetween the bullets but the space above and below the ship still somehow counts.... Bullet hells need perfect hit detection for it to be effective, just a bad combination. Rating it pretty low because despite having awesome music the gameplay is really, really lacking once you really start playing.
To be honest I don't really like games like this, bullet hells are only enjoyable to me if you can actually dodge the bullets. When there is literally no space to do so then it really just is kind of boring, keep shooting and take some hits and keep shooting and absolutely nothing else...
@Breakthru As someone who has coded before, I assure you games like this are more than reasonable to take more than 2 weeks to update. It's not like he needs to fix bugs, he's adding full features.
To be honest, I have to give it a 1 for how it aims. Forced auto-aim is annoying, there is a reason I avoid it in games. If there was an option not to use it I would be happy but you give me no choice.
I gave it 2 stars despite the fact that I'm enjoying it, the tutorial is really quite poor and there are so many questions I have that should be in an instruction page. Like, how come I destroyed all the pirates and I didn't complete the objective that says destroy all the pirates in this system ? Am I in the wrong system ? Does it mean a larger area than I cleared ? I don't know, because nothing is explained and nowhere can I get the information I need.
Well knowing that you should click on it in targeting and not any button on screen would have been helpful ... For a tutorial it should start with all the movements first.
It's strange you have to click which automatically autopilots but all I want to do is mine and enter the areas without autopilot, why have the option of manual when you are forced to use autopilot to do anything anyway ?
So here's a question -- what's the point of healing an negative status effect if it doesn't come off until the next round anyway ? It's literally a completely useless ability for the wizard.
@Kikix12 I believe it's actually based on total money earned as my angel investors increased without increasing the amount of money earned pers second.
Wait a minute, was the game collecting money even when it wasn't on ? That's AWESOME. Idling while I have my computer shut down, I think I'll have to test that again.
It would also be nice if dying enemies didn't block your view ... Or if enemies didn't block your view at all. Why aren't you and your allies in front for the most part ? That's so annoying, that and the useless AI make the game more difficult than it has to be.
I keep trying to play this game but the AI is so absolutely useless I could do better if they weren't there distracting me. What's the point of having AI allies if they just keep running across the screen taking hits and not actually killing anything ?
Not a big fan of bullet hells to begin with and this one is nothing special... All bullet hell gameplay is pretty much the same, the only real thing special about them is graphics and while the cats and what not are cute it's definitely not the best looking game for 2011.
