It was pretty good when it came out but now it's really showing how out-dated it is, he gameplay is simple and the controls are just awful. So unresponsive to the keyboard but I suppose that's how technology goes.
I don't know, I usually like these sort of games but it doesn't feel like there is any real appeal to this game. There isn't even really any grinding since you restart each time completely anyway. There's no story, no real goals, no real purpose, not that many abilities, and not that much to explore or see. It's a good game but there are more solid games that push the envelope or try and do something unique and this one is generic at best. The graphics are spectacular and visually stunning but the areas themselves are kind of uninteresting, with names like "Village".
Just starting this game, I wish there was some sort of information before I started playing. I am not psychic. It doesn't make it more mysterious or more interesting, just an annoying first impression. I have a feeling this will be a great game but you need a real introduction.
Ugh, the more I play this game the more I hate it. Some of the training games are just broken, the agility doesn't let you drop down faster to avoid obstacles so it is physically impossible to get too much farther than 25. The stamina game barely feels like it's responding to my controls, I have to keep slamming the space bar. Space bar really isn't the best button for this type of mini-game but I doubt quality was your top priority. Just another lesson, just because the game looks fantastic doesn't mean it's any good.
The dash attack seems really awesome at first until you realize you're being thrown into the middle of a horde of enemies all the time when all you want to do is skirt the outside. There's no control over the move and it's actually kind of frustrating at times. This move should be its own button as well.
This game is honestly just a clone of that one with the chick races, but with significantly better graphics. It's a flash game though, and graphics really don't matter. 1/5
The absolute worst thing I found in 10 seconds is the L looks like I. It's so confusing and my first reaction is always to put an I, because that's what it looks like. I have failed the speed test every time ONLY because of that.
It would be easier if I could see the objects, making them the same colour as the background is difficult on a blind man. I love these kinds of games but people with vision like me have to have differently coloured obstacles compared to the background or else we can't play, I have to rate this low unfortunately.
Almost a perfect game, except why do the bullets match the background ? I seriously can't see them, what possessed you to do that ? Why couldn't they be green or something more appropriately different ?
The mouse control is great, but I enjoy keyboard on this sort of game, and I feel the keyboard controls are a little sloppy and it seems heavier than the mouse controls.
I found the game to be particularly unenjoyable, most for the fact I always felt like I had to either sacrifice getting new weapons or doing the actual objective. It never feels like there is enough money for both, and based on pure mathematics even with the full skill upgrade on increased money there really isn't enough to do both in the first 15 levels. Like it was said before, this does make this extremely boring.
Your right, awful was a bad assessment but the game does have serious flaws. It feels like you didn't play through the game, and you were so close to making an amazing game that desperately needed more testing.

Note: I now beat the game. I would also like to mention it's exceptionally annoying you are stuck to the side of the screen when you are trying to collect bonuses in a 2 dimensional space and you are stuck to 1 dimension.
I played through most of this game and it's quite awful for these reasons:
1. At maximum upgrades, I'm still having extreme difficulty. The upgrades do very little; they should be costly but at maximum they should give you a good advantage.
2. The missiles are too small, they barely hit anything. This wouldn't be so frustrating except you HAVE to hit the enemies before you hit them.
3. Why ? Because about half the missiles are physically impossible to dodge, but unfortunately you can't hit the enemies fast enough. It's not physically possible.
4. Your oxygen and fuel bars are so low that the multiple hits you are guaranteed will make you lose. Only an extreme champion of side scrolling shooters would be able to prosper.
5. I do like the enemy design, but there are way too many enemies onscreen after a certain point.
6. The speed bonus is absolutely useless. It just flings you into danger and takes away the fuel and oxygen bonuses which you desperately need.
You know what's kind of annoying, whenever I try and kill the zombies close to my barricades I keep clicking off the area. The edge from where you can shoot and the edge of the screen are too close.
