Suggestions for full game:
1. add a zombification altar - zombies kill villagers
2. Make like tower denfence, give the hut a health bar which increases with upgrades, add a game over screen showing a witch being burned at the stake.
3. add a final victory spell where the witch casts a powerful spell to transform herself into a beautiful young queen
4. add repeatable one shot spells that cost the same each time such as a dragon summon, zombification, fireball, vines, etc
5. add traps which slow the villagers
6. add fat, mounted, and armoured villagers that weigh more (so count as two three or more)

I'm going to bed now - I have travel and train nature lore as my active skills and commune as my preferred rest type - I wonder how high my skill will be when I get up?
7. Savegame plus - give the mage the opportunity to retire and pass the mantle to an apprentice, The apprentice will inherit the mages home and all of its contents, they will inherit the mages equipment, they will also be at level 0 of every skill that the mage had available (unlocked), instead of train the apprentice will have train with master for each of the skills, and will gain a boosted rate of the previous mages focus ability per second when training each of these skills up until the apprentices skill level surpasses that of the master, then it will become train.

6. More Idle! 5. Endless Buffs - At a certain level you will be given the option to permacast certain spells, you will receive a warning that this is permanent. In exchange for some relevant gems, and research; this will permanently reduce the mana/spirit/light etc level equal to the cost of the spell, the spell will be removed from the spell list and you will receive a permanent buff equal to the spells power in its place.
