That's literally all this game will do for me. It's just a static loading screen. Might as well be a JPG. Every other game I've opened on this site this month has loaded just fine. Only this one is broken that I know of. Anyone know what plug-in this uses besides flash?
Instructions unclear. Played for like half an hour on a single level before really understanding what I was doing. Then the creeper became more opaque than ever and reconquered half the map in minutes. defflak is right, this game NEEDS A BETTER TUTORIAL for people who aren't already familiar with other games in this series!

"Here's my method to beat the End: Well, despite many advices, Orcs remind for me the best choice to beat The End, just because of .... THE CERBERUS! This Titan is, well, what it is: a Titan! it stops The End for a very long time, have a huge physical shield and is almost insensitive to magic. So, when you have maxed everything (no need of archery), you keep sending hobbits and Totems, , but always stay close to 9999 mana, and when the enemies send to too much troop to be contained, man, RELEASED THE CERBERUS lol, then continue with hobbits, Totem, and Beast Riders, slowly filling your mana to unleash the next Cerberus as soon as possible. By doing so, when The End comes, you'll have A LOT of totem to weakened him. Of course, use all your spell as often as you can on him! I didn't have the Angel Soldier to beat him and it works at first try, my castle have no damage at the end :) Great, great, great game by the way!"
The "MY PRECIOUS" achievement would be easier if we could see the whole battle are, so that enemies wouldn't sometimes die OFFSCREEN where you can't see the money they drop therefore don't know to run to get it.
I'm glad the "Sharpshooter" achievement can be earned on level 1. I suggest not buying any Multi-shot upgrades until after you earn it, just so it's easier to tell where exactly your shots are aimed at.
Everyone here is complaining about this game. Yes it's overly simple. Yes some levels are way too easy. No it does not deserve to be listed among the top games. But I'm gonna be honest, I liked it. Sometimes I need an easy, simple game to relax with, and this one works for that purpose. I only rate it 3 stars, but I will add it to my personal list of "games to relax to" & I'll look up the other Repixel games as well.
I'll probably get downvoted to oblivion for this unpopular opinion of mine, but hey, I'm just trying to be honest & fair. Most of you are probably only hating on it because your expectations were high because this was in the "Top games this month" section on the homepage. You should complain to Kongregate about that, and question how they calculate the "top" games. But don't hate on anyone who likes a game just because you don't think it's one of the best. Most of you would probably feel differently about this game if you came across it another way.
Why isn't the sound working? I usually turn off the music on games I play here, so I didn't remember if this one had nice music or not. I came here now just to check, but I can't any sound to play. I've pressed "m" many times, even played through a couple levels & pressed it a few times during, but still nothing. I've checked my own volume settings, they're fine; I even opened a different game on this site to verify that sound is working for me. I just can't hear anything on THIS game.
Wait... are the levels randomly generated? I tried looking up a walkthrough video on youtube, skipped ahead to lvl 47, and the level in the video wasn't the same as the one I'm on. I thought either me or the video might've miscounted. I went back a level (w/ left arrow key), compared to the video, got confused to what level I had on screen since the game DOES NOT SAY although the youtube vid did, so I ended up jumping back & forth between my most recent few levels. I could not get any of them to match up to any of the levels in the video, but I also noticed that the puzzle showing here in game was never the same. Not just the rotations, but the placements of end-circles & 4-way diamonds & straight lines, they kept changing! WALKTHROUGHS ARE USELESS!
I'm kind of amazed that I can listen to this music for over 2 hours without it getting to be annoying. Which is good since it takes me over 2 hours to finish some of these on hard difficulty.
You know what this game reminds me of? Level 3 of Battletoads. You know, the side-scrolling race level that's famous for being almost LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to beat.
Also my controls randomly stopped working during the 2nd lap of a quick race. The game just no longer recognizes my keyboard, so my penguin is just running on autopilot (and doing a HELL of a lot better than when I was in control, because the controls for this game SUCK! Very poorly designed.
BTW it's impossible to slide down hills because I have too much forward momentum. Even if I try dive down from the very top of a hill at walking speed, I just land face-first into the 2nd half of the hill, where it goes uphill. Literally EVERYTHING about this game is wrong. Every single line of code is flawed. I'd rate it 0 stars if possible. It's SOOOOOOOOOO not worth the hassle of trying to get a mere badge-of-the-day. The only reason I'm stilll playing is because that badge is required for the "Best of 2013" quest.
Is there a button to press to make info re-appear on screen? I started a race w/ people, and there's not a single word or button on screen except "you" (pointing at me). There's no button I can click to pause, or for options or to quit, nothing showing what my special items are (I know I have some because when I press SPACE stuff happens), and at some point I just STOP racing, and some sad music plays so I assume that lap ended and I wasn't in 1st place (probably last since this is my first time playing, but that's just a guess), then the next lap starts and my only clue to when exactly to start is the traffic light. In the tutorial & in the practice there was lots of stuff on screen but when i started a REAL race it was all gone.
Is this a glitch, or a UI setting that I toggled without realizing?
When a new dynasty begins, is the thing that it's famous for chosen at random? Or is it the same in every game? Or is it the same in every playthrough, per difficulty level, but different between each of the 3 difficulty levels?
After so many years of the game being here, Bloons TD5 has finally been released on ArmorGames.com. But be warned, they didn't include the daily login chest there, so it's basically PAY-TO-WIN there. It's far better to play the game here on Kongregate because here you can beat even the toughest levels eventually without having to open your wallet or grind easy levels thousands of times over.
