*UPDATE* (sorry can't delete previous comment) I was able to load my fully-built hotel, just had to start a new one & pause the game in order to see the option. (Weird.) Anyway, once you get the 5-star certification, PLAY FOR ANOTHER GAME MONTH & keep up the 5-star requirements for all of it, in order to get the last badge.
GRRR! I just played a new game all the way through so I could finally get the 5-star rating (couldn't get it first time I tried). I finally got it, "won the game", then chose the option to return to menu. NO BADGE AWARDED. Apparently in order to get the badge, you have to choose "continue playing" when you earn your 5th star. Even though the game autosaves, I couldn't get back into my hotel from the main menu after that, so I have to start all over from the beginning again. *grumble*
The "Flawless Flight" trophy is a cruel joke! It's scientifically impossible. Even the REAL Iron Monkey --er, Man, the genius Tony Stark himself, could not fly all that distance without hitting a single object. Why you gotta tease us with an unachievable achievement:?? If you made the goal of it to "reach the moon without hitting more than 20 objects" then it MIGHT be doable. But I can't even get higher than treetops without hitting at least 2 or 3 birds!!!
This game has every reason to be rated 5 stars -- except for the part where I have to slaughtered by a a super-powerful boss EVERY NIGHT, and lose ALL my levels & such, & then have to re-do ALL of it the next day, OVER & OVER. I feel like a pig with a carrot-on-a-stick in front of me, like the whole thing is a joke & I'm the butt of it. The concept is one of the best I've seen of HUNDREDS of games on sites like Kongregate, but the nightly boss-fight TOTALLY ruins it.
THANK YOU DIJEPERS! I back up my browser-flash-game saves regularly, and today they got erased when I ran a newly-installed anti-malware program, but when I tried to restore this game from the backup, it didn't work. Then I read your comment. I never would've guessed I have to restore the backup copy of a file from one folder into a DIFFERENT folder!
I'm so glad I didn't install a malware remover YESTERDAY, or I wouldn't have seen your comment & would've given up on this game forever.
Whitescreen of Death is still happening to me. Using Firefox 20 on Windows 7, Flash Player is up-to-date. For now I'm gonna have to reduce my rating to 1-star & unfavorite it. Maybe I'll check back in 6 months & see the game works for me by then.
I have tested & found the following achievements to be broken & unachievable, even when following the (not-well-written-enough) descriptions in the Walkthrough: 91, 103, 318, 321, and some others that are dependent on these (261, 262, 263). A couple others I can't figure out what to even try to do because the instructions in the walkthrough are not clear enough (360, 363). Conclusion: The game is unbeatable. It's a wonderful creation that ultimately fails. It needs to be re-written to fix the bugs and make all the achievements actually work, then re-submitted to the website as a "FIXED" version. If the game has a fully finished version released, I will rate it 5 stars. But until then, I have no choice but to give this 1 star :(
Um, admins, feel free to delete my previous comment, if you can at all. (The one about a giant hamster stuck in a tube in the Changing Room.) I figured out a bunch of things on my own that made the entire comment obselete, and it's a very long one so it's kind of a waste of space. I would delete it myself if I could, but I can't.
I discovered a game-breaking glitch. I made a bunch of Giant Hamsters in the Changing Room, and one of them got stuck on the entrance to the tube... I'm not sure why, but I can't exit the room now. When I try to get into the tube & walk out of the room, I end up dying & coming out of the pipe in the ceiling, just to try over & over with same result. Either the giant hamster is blocking the tube in some sort of death-inducing way, or the room itself is an "oubliette" of sorts that you can't leave EVER. I was hoping I could get out by exiting the game & coming back, but the "Save & Exit" button was never properly made in the first place so it doesn't work. Here's a screenshot so you can see what I mean by "the giant hamster half-blocking the tube." https://www.dropbox.com/s/rruarw4r395nl73/AchvmntUnlocked3%20ChangingRoom%20Stuck%20glitch.jpg Anyway, WORD OF ADVICE TO ALL OF YOU... don't shoot out any Hamsters in this room.
Since most people will probably end up needing to look it up anyway, here's the answer to #14: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBL8-b-Ia7g
You're welcome.
@wecl0me12: You actually know where the save files are stored?? I tried for AGES to find this out with ArmorGames after all my saves got wiped, but no one could answer. Since then, I never clear my cache or cookies or temporary internet files EVER, just because I don't want savegames on these websites to get erased. Can you PLEASE tell me where the savegame file is located for FIREFOX users?? Please? I need to know!!
There's some sort of glitch prevent me from being able to complete the 2nd area. I got it unlocked, but every time I play a level (aka "run the experiment") when I win it just takes me to the analysis rather than giving me a new structure to add to my genome. I go to run the experiment again, but all the levels in area 2 are showing as "untested" even though I've tested each one several times.
Can anyone give some good advice on a strategy to get the "No Man Left Behind" achievement in the 2nd campaign? Been trying it over & over, several different ways, and the first ally always gets killed. It's really hard because no matter what the enemies always seem to prefer him as a target rather than myself.
Why can I not advance beyond class 2? I want to add at least 1 more specific upgrade before I fight the end-boss (whom I've already found, I think), but the upgrades require being a higher class. I got the "bubbles needed for next level up" bar down to zero, but nothing happened; as if I'd already maxed my level. Did I make a BIG mistake by choosing to edit my tank when I leveled up previously, rather than selecting one of the available pre-made tanks to upgrade to? Did I essential "throw away" some class level-ups by doing so? Please help explain!
Day 70: I've amassed over $60,000 just from farming 4 plots of land & a small handful of chicken eggs. It's more money that I know what to do with, literally. It costs me nothing to upkeep this farm, except for a little bit of fertilizer, bug spray, or chicken feed sometimes, which costs mere pocket change. I make bank off the few crops I have planted, but spend most my time just watering them & waiting... and swimming in a pool filled with gold coins. If only there was some way to use my capital to expand my business... perhaps buy more land with more plots that I could plant additional crops on. Oh well, in another few months I'll probably just plow the whole land over & build myself an amusement park.
After trying Level 9 on easy mode, I have downgraded my rating of this game from 4 stars to 1 star. It still felt like trying to take down a fortress with a couple peasants armed only with pitchforks; got my behind handed to me on a silver platter. WTH?!? If anyone who's actually good at this game reads this message, would you please send me some sort of step-by-step strategy guide on how to beat this level? I don't have 1337 skills, and level 9 is WAY too hardcore for my ability.
I googled up this advice how to get a good BUILD SCORE:
Try to keep everything as even as possible, and avoid spilling out the tops and sides if possible. The neater your taco, the bigger your tip!
--Pour ingredients as low to the taco as you can, starting just barely above the meat layer.
--Start pouring from left to right, making a slow, steady swipe to the other side. If there’s more topping to drop, make quick movements back and forth until the pan is empty.
--Make little “hills” on the left and right sides of the taco to help hold ingredients in. Do this by pausing for a fraction of a second on the edges. This is especially important when a taco has a number of toppings.
(upvote this to help everyone who, like me, has been struggling with build scores)
For those of you having trouble finding the last few items, here is a map I complied together. If I did it properly, then all items (orbs, fragments, keys, locks, hidden paths, bosses, spells) should be findable on this image. http://i.imgur.com/6bPCR.jpg
