Wow, I've never wanted a developer to die in a fire more than I did for the level design on Basargo. Did you really have to make it a stupid hike between spiky balls to get from the respawn to Basargo every time? It's like running a goddamn errand. This level sucks.
This game is pretty linear. It's clean and direct, but there's not really any variety in it at all. It's just completely optimization without an end to it, just more production. I think the best idle games today all have more of a hook than this one does, but I'm optimistic about what you can create next.
1) I have too much money that the game sometimes isn't able to sell or buy all in stocks. 2) I have $365 billion, but my high score is showing up as only 2. something billion. On my ranking page it shows as only $305 million.
Also the unit cost scaling makes no sense. I have buy $25000 worth of soldiers so I can buy one $250 guy with a bazooka? I have to buy like $50000 worth of soldiers so I'm allowed to spend $2500 on 5 guys with bazookas so I can buy one guy with a mortar?
I'm not a fan of all these Unity idle games, because so far I haven't seen any functionality benefit over the cost of being a laggy mess. It looks interesting, though.
It is such a struggle to create anything that comes from light (air, water, EVERYTHING NEEDS WATER) because of the ridiculous scaling of those resources.
thanks for warm comment! ^_^
