its...um...an interesting variation, but calling this chess is kind of like calling spades - bridge. its less mentally stimulating and just kind of dumb as it relies more heavily on luck of what units you and the opponent have than any real strategy. I suggest to anyone who wants actual chess, with a twist of GREATER challenge, try Nightmare Chess.
Good little game but I feel it has some significant balance issues and frankly dont know how people have beaten it multiple times, let alone at all. I can cruise though the game until getting near then end, but then, even with all abilities maximized and higher mana and life totals, I just cant win. Enemies all throw more bolts than I can at maximum, and all their attacks cause burn and sap mana on hit. The ability to only choose one of either the attacks or defense buttons at first, and seemingly at random, is very annoying. And the to use defence at all is pretty pointless as it costs the same amount of mana as attacking and cant gain any greater numbers. Also, every time I've faced an enemy that uses poison, if I can manage to get enough special to purge it, I automatically fail the fight. I like the (limited) story and ability to choose a path but after months of trying just to get past the end run, with no success, Im done. good game but needs work. 3/5
reminds me of echochrome. not mentally challenging but well made. nice graphics, smooth gameplay. decent perspective game to waste a little time on. 4/5

I had to reload this page several times before I could stop the script in the right spot to leave this comment before the "game" loaded, may be a great game but this is BS :/ 1/5 for being completely worthless.
also of note. the watcha vid to get a buff frequently is empty or stuck on 0:00 cooldown. even when it works, if you lose a character or an ability modifies your overall DPS, the buff is lost, making it pretty pointles.
If there are no ads available, then it would be showing the 0:00 cooldown. If you watched the ad and got the buff, the buff will stay for the time. If you put in a help request using the "Help and Support" link with a description of what happens, then we can try to troubleshoot.
@johnbooth123. maybe you should upgrade your protection. since gamestop bought Kong, as soon as I load the site I block a good 20 spyware and malware programs every time, not exclusive to this page.
quicktip, once you get your team each to about level 300, Thalia is the only one worth leveling. keep spamming magnify+storm rider every time the CD is ready.
Sorry about that. Not quite sure why it can crash the game, unless the photo resolution is too high. We'll troubleshoot it better for the next time. You can still enter the code if you see if floating around the internet.
seems like an interesting game but I didnt get far before getting stuck. just after the first Plunder in the tutorial, there are no more NPC's to plunder and it won't allow me to attack other players, but Im out of gold and don't see anything else I can access at this point. maybe make more NPC's available to plunder.

Quicktip for gold for non pay-to-win players: Sign in four days consecutively, the fourth day login bonus is always 40 gold. Then do not log in the fifth day. This will reset to the first day login bonus again. There are other ways to earn gold through quests and the like but i find this is the best, steady way to find it; if you're consistent you can get about 240 gold per month. Note: you must claim daily login rewards through the "Events" tab -- found in the pull-down beneath your hero profile in the top-left. The tab is in the third row, second column, looks like a few gift packages.
For the many things that require it, diamond drop rate is way to small, been running four days and a total of 16 diamonds. a quaint idler but not great.
After more than a dozen attempts at the daily, I got a map that dropped an ammo box I can actually pick up! This game needs ALOT more of them. unfortunatelt, even ending with 61 kills, only registered 17 so still no badge. This is total horse crap.
