Note: The [Change Ship] menu has more ships up-screen. Grab and pull down, there is no scrollbar. Tactics: Even a one-eyed man paddling a broken mast will have 15 AP. So for enemies with >30 ap, rotate your fire reducing their AP below 30, to change ships from 2-shot per turn to just 1-shot.
Look for the rows/columns with two hearts. The difference is one of the rows/columns. (For example, a row with a 0,1 would have 0 across, and 0 down below the 0, but 1 down below the 1.)
Two things: if any fly gets caught in an object, restart. Also, you can press the F and J keys TOGETHER to lift straight up. (Took me like 4 levels to figure that out - I was hitting FJFJFJFJFJ alternating for SOOO long!)
How do you beat the third egyptian node, with the osiris undead guys? It seems like I can score a couple points against them, but then they start converting my guys to skeletons and regenerating their hits. Any clues?
Playing on a MBP with mouse and external monitor via FireFox, my mouse clicks are offset about 1cm down and right. It's consistent - I just have to hunt around somewhere up and left of where I want to go until I click and a black dot appears in the right place.
In the fan level, after "don't give up you can do it" I somehow managed to get back to "Get In Control" with gravity upside down. Now I'm stuck, and I can't get gravity reset. How can I fix this?
SPOILER: You can move things. You can pick up things. You can "use" what you pick up. Some "obvious" puzzles are combinations, and the combinations are embedded in the decorations in the background. Click on everything. Once, you need to click fast. If there's a pattern, write it down or remember it.
Also, the technology tree is imbalanced. Espionage would be useful in the beginning/middle of the game, but by the time you develop it the game is all but over.
The combat system needs a retreat/run away option. Likewise, the AIs need work, since even at the hardest level, the AI tactics seem to be "each combatant randomly fire at someone in range".
