The difficulty curve in campaign mode is ridiculously steep and many of the guns are of negligible use until upgraded. Needs some balancing work but otherwise good.
Not bad. Could use more levels. Would have marked it as 4 stars, but I found it impossible to tell the difference between grass that had been watered twice, and grass that had been watered three times.
Simplistic and pointless 'search 'em up' that is really nothing more than a hunt for various items. The only puzzles are 'find the named item' and 'decipher the code' with no complex cogitation required. A cakewalk, and not even that creepy.
The numbers of friendly and enemy troops seem totally random. Some levels I watched my allies walk across the field and win without seeing a single enemy, others I was left to defend myself alone against a horde of foes making it impossible to win. This needs fixing.
A shame the supercollider mentioned in the game's introduction actually suffered a technical glitch hours after being switched on and is not set to be tried again until next year...
...wait a second, I'm now on level 51! What happened to there only being 50 levels? I'm guessing once you pass 50, all subsequent levels are equally hard?
It's an OK game, but it could use a LOT more variety and I'm not sure the costs are evenly balanced. Also, a means of moving the towers around when their range increases would be very useful, especially for lasers.
