i have a new gaming laptop, but this game literally won't take simultaneous keyboard and touchpad inputs. I can either drive or shoot but not both. If I drive, the shooter won't fire. I have to lay off the gas and steering to shoot. :-(
I have a brand new gaming laptop so lag isn't a problem, but getting an issue where the touchpad simply refuses to respond for a while. Sometimes it won't move, but more often it's a clicking issue. I click/tap again and again and again, and nothing. The gun just won't shoot. (and no, it's not that i'm out of ammo.)
Woot. Just maxed out all upgrades after defeating Wave 115. only died on 5 or 6 waves throughout. If you want all upgrades, be prepared to slog through about 115 waves.
I should be able to go back to the evil kingdom of whatever it is after returning to Tempor. Having slain the Beast, only reason to stick around is to get all the good items, and best way to level up is with end faction quests.
Wow. Warning: if one of the voidbringer's helpers is still alive when the voidbringer dies, the quest doesn't end and you have to fight the voidbringer all over again.
so many comments complaining about the difficulty. It's not that hard, people. 1st attempt beat it in 30 mins, 2nd attempt beat it in 15 mins. Only wish it lagged less.
incredibly fun game. Beat it in 30 mins. I would just say this, though, that a game with no autosave shouldn't have any memory leaks, or the lag gets annoying toward the end.
The "ghost I just killed opens from a random wall and instantly kills me" problem needs addressing. Maybe a few specifics ghost spawns marked with yellow doors could help.
Thank you Kongregate for keeping the page up and the badges active. Good move. The people behind Kongregate know what they're doing. The people behind Kixeye? Not so much.
Many of the critiques are valid, but you do NOT need to grind. TO GET THE HARD BADGE: upgrade your luck and speed in Temple of Nature to level 3 each. Don't bother with armor, maybe one level if you have to. That should allow you pass Insane on all Nature levels. Then sell all Nature upgrades. For Fire, buy Level 2 speed and luck, no armor. Pass all Fire levels on "Normal," sell upgrades. On Wind, upgrade Speed once. That should be all you need; get armor if necessary. Sell. For Frost, get level 2 armor, speed and luck. That should carry you through.
OK, here's how to do it: upgrade your luck and speed in Temple of Nature to level 3 each. Don't bother with armor, maybe one level if you have to. Ghosts spawn in the "ghost house" in the center. I do plan to add some kind of door here when I have the time.
