I havn't checked this, but I think that each time you beat the game, you are able to get more mana with the next hero you play as. After beating it with all 5, my total mana is 3,500.
I prefer the hero NOT able to come back in the same battle. All that it matters about for me is that the enemy's hero can come back too, which makes the game that much harder. Also, I liked having the large counterattack in early levels, it gave me experience that much faster. Perhaps different difficulty settings could be used to compromise the conflicting oppinions of people playing this game?
I know that people don't like how the enemy can send so many units at once once their castle is halfway dammaged, but that adds some challange to the game. Otherwise, once you get to the castle, it is basicly over. This way, you have to overcome that last wave of enemies first. If you know what you're doing, it isn't THAT bad except in the cave of trial.
For anyone who cares, I made a level titled TI-84 Plus - Death Star. I hope that I can get people to play it. To find it , either search for the course title Death Star or the user name DragonALX. Thank you.
The game moves too slow on my computer, yet I still had almost a minnute and a half left after dieing. Time taken, 03:34:590, killed by the shark. Overall, dumb game, 1/5
my strategy: send 3 crusaders out right at the start, one in each slot. they will normally hit the enemy before they can send out anyone to block them (sometimes even winning the fight against a weak enemy). Then I send out nothing else but fully-upgraded priests. This has worked for me so far.
I would advise NOT getting the chainsaw! The gatling gun is cheeper, upgrades better, has a much longer range, and doesn't waste almost ALL of your ammo before the level is even half over!
I got EXACTLY 200 on Geometric and Pulse. That gives me a gold medal in the game but does it not count in the "Gold Medals" score? If this is the problem I've been haveing, please fix it. I should have all 8 gold medals in the score but I don't. Great game otherwise.
Badges didn't guite make sence with the points given them. Hard badge is easier than medium. And though I understood that the hard badge counts ONLY trick points, apparently some people still thnk that it means total, dispite the "NOT your total" in the badge description. Also, the physics in the game isn't good, but it is probably harder than someone would expect to put good physics in a game (I wouldn't know, I havn't tried). Perhaps more upgrades, different areas, and a save function would be good improvements.
I think that this would be a fun game, if it wasn't for the fact that even though I turned quality to low and all the effects off, the lag is so terrible that the cursor in the game doesn't move fast enough to show where I'm actually shooting. As it is, I wouldn't even give this 1/5 if a lower rating was possible, and I don't understand why badges were given to something so prone to lagging. How good someone is at this game now appears to be based on the degree of lag, rather than shooting abilities. I'm supprised I even got to level 20, and the only reason I got that far was probably because I had the bartender shooting too. He at least hit the bunnies when he shot.
I, like apparently many people who played this game, had really bad lag issues with it. For me anyway, just switching both qualitys to low solved it. If there is bad lag even after that, then I guess there is a problem.
If there is going to be a map game about geography, at least make sure the information is accurate. I only know this because I learned it recently in school, but the country is South Africa, not South Afrika (a simple misspelling), and also, the country is the Democratic Republic of the Congo, not just Congo. When people mention Congo, they normally mean the Republic of the Congo, which is the country directly to the left of that. Those are the two mistakes I found. And you basicly have to hit the exact pixil to get a strike, I got plenty of 99 distance scores, but no strike, even though I was off by a barely noticable ammount, but I guess that is what makes it a hard badge. Good if you know where countries are, which I do know enough about to like this. My high score so far is level 6.
