Used to play before the hacking occurred, I lost my account, which had nearly 3000 kills, and was just as frustrated as anybody when my account got deleted. It does, however, frustrate me when people complain about the multiplayer function being gone. Ben is currently working on the next S:DG and if he has to worry about hackers on this, he'll have less time to get it completed, so give the guy some respect and keep your complaints to yourself.
The lives are also a form of scoring, your life/kill ratio is one of the most important statistics, though without multiplayer it doesn't matter much. Just came back to play this as a guest, always complete 2 missions, then gt Marauder with Hyper Drive, Carnivore Torpedo's type 3 and 4(used to use Xandelevium combo, but improved range on the Carnivore's won me over) and last but not least 2 sets of Heat Seaking Mines, as stationary mines just don't cut it as far as I'm concerned and lightning mines can be frustrating. All that and the highest-cost engine, and I'm in heaven, though I couldn't resist getting a warship later on, just to access Large weapon slot.
Don't see why you don't curve around corners when you jump, going full 90 degrees just before you jump is really annoying, should be able to jump 'around corners' when you jump really close or something. Also doesn't make a lot of sense. As for the last level, I don't see why it's 'so hard', I lost 5 lives and I'm not particularly good at platform games. Reasonably good game though, more puzzle factors would have been nice.
I enjoyed this for a bit, but it got tedious after a while. I find it interesting how you don't draw cards from a deck, though this doesn't reach its full potential as I'm sure every second person has said: the random card selection is frustrating and this game would be far more fun were you allowed to select your cards. I think you should at least be able to choose a single card for each card type, then I can get Fire Drake every match and I'm happy. Though I like the lack of deck, you might want to consider some sort of 'side deck; that you could swap cards out of/into instead of just having to skip your turn. Overall good game, but it needs work done and a lot more player freedom if it's ever going to work as a multiplayer game: 3/5
I like this game, unfortunately the battles drag out so much when you start fighting 2 people. I'm currently in a battle where neither me or my opponent have landed a hit in the last 10 turns and it's getting ridiculous.
Brilliant, not every adventure has to involve some epic heroes quest, yet I found this guy Rupert far more interesting because of it, and his sadistic humour was a nice touch.
